Pakistani tv has not yet been corrupted that way as in prolonging the narrative meaninglessly ...everytine a show like this ends, you are left craving for more...I guess that is what attracts me a lot

Next Wednesday is the last episode. I absolutely agree on crisp narration and the absence of "Ek Jashn" 😈 makes the entire viewing experience so much better⭐️

I cant wait to catch the episode tonight and discuss with the motley crew here in our CSD😃

Potentially khidkitod episode completely ruined by bad costumes, bad hair, worse than bad editing and not giving a chance for emotions to play out. What was the goddamn rush? It really was like khargosh on skates 😡 They guy took 400 episodes to say the words and what a hash they made of it. The Monday episode was much better.
Is this the way it's going to be? Now that it's half an hour and everyone has to have their screen space? 🤢
Why am I not feeling invested in the JV story? And also the LL one? I enjoyed all their scenes (the bromance ones) together and with Anika. In fact Rudy and Anika scenes had great chemistry. But somehow I don't connect with their love stories. Is it because I haven't watched the spinoff? Or it's not built up well. Not sure. Because I have been completely invested in the Shivika story despite all the crap. But don't feel the same with the other stories.

It is back to half an hour slot from Monday Savs. Maybe Gul's idea of keeping all the fandoms happy is let everyone been on screen equal time in each episode. As a result of which no emotion gets enough time to play out. Of course this ends up with no fandom being happy. But who is to get that across to Gul. The Shivika scene was really badly edited. Could have been a good scene despite the horrible styling if they had to let it play out properly.

As a kid, every time my mami came home or we went over, she would tie my hair in these really tight endless braids. Every single strand of hair on my head used to hurt. One summer, when I found out she was coming I practiced day and night and learned to braid my hair by myself just in time.
Looking at the hairstyle in Ishqiya yesterday, my head hurt all all over again. Oh my, those used to be painful. Why would anyone want to give your leads a headache, I don't get.

Did not watch till the big build up, so no words there, but reading J and Biraj's account, I can well understand why the frustration.

Jee haan.

I peeked because I couldn't make sar or poonch of W*F was going on with JJ/LL quartet in the main story...but if you decide to venture there I'll just say two words...HAZMAT SUIT.

But at least you get an idea of the bhys and the bherefores.

Shame wala pinch - we had a sadistic PE teacher who basically humiliated you on prime time Doordarshan if a single strand of hair escaped a single braid on a single girl's head.

And given the PE teacher was (supposedly) a guy, let's just say we had some very strong opinions about where he could stuff his opinions.

What just happened on safar of YKS... Why are we made to suffer this way? Is it ep 15 or ep 28 ? Why shouldnt the director invest any time in a conversation of Asfi n Zubiya while he is jumping through every possible hoop to close all the loops...
An epi that had so much potential...bad editing

Same to same.. a letdown😕 Everyone got their closure but they could not have one follow up conversation between Asfi and Zubiya?.. now they are going to wrap it all in the final episode. The curtain closure scene to the OST was done well even though it lasted only a few seconds..

The ever optimistic me thinks, they got everything and everyone out of the way. Hopefully this means the last episode is solely about Asfi and Zubiya.

The OT scene where Asfi pulls the curtain was indeed very well done. This was the first time Asfi saw Zubiya without her dupatta over her head, sleeping, at her most vulnerable. He slowly pulls the curtain close and leaves her protected.

The other thing that stood out was, Asfi listened to Zubiya and took a step back from her, but Zubiya's eyes follow him every time they are around each other.

Finally Asfi knows about Zubiya's past and his part in it. Let's see for it plays out next week.

Per social media yesterday, the writer confirmed that Zubiya scenes were cut in editing!

"jawab dene ki pabandh nahi hoon" - famous catchphrase uttered by Usman's DIL's 😆(present and future). I am glad Dr. Haroon persisted, patiently explained his POV before making a gracious exit, leaving the choice to Gaiti - that scene was done well😃
