Love this scene from BM

I think the biggest reason I love this scene the most in this movie is because I didn't see Mastani smiling at Bajirao but rather DP smiling generously at Ranveer. That was totally an authentic off-screen smile there between the real jodi rather than just acting😆

She has had a wonderful career in BW, Amazing 10th year and she has the biggest film coming out in her 10th year.
She has grown by heaps and bounds from her first film. From being considered just a pretty face to the top actress in the country and some amazing performances in films such as.

Cocktail - Really was a turning point where she made people sit up and notice her as an actress, one film where her performance and the film were appreciated. She was a revelation as Veronica and her top class performance took the film to another level.

RamLeela - her first film with SLB,her screen presence and amazing chemistry with Ranveer where the highlights of this film. Leela was Fire.

Piku - Where she held her own amidst two acting powerhouses Amitabh Bacchan and Irrfan Khan. This for me is my favourite performance of Deepika. Her eyes spoke volumes and she played the role with a lot of heart.

Tamasha - Where she was the heart of the movie. It was a smaller part but yet she wowed everyone with her performance as Tara, She made it her own.

Bajiro Mastani- Mastani was a hard role to pull off, despite being a home breaker Deepikas performance got a lot of love for Mastani, even in the polls Mastani turned out to be the most loved character ahead of Piku and Tara.

and Iam sure Padmavati will join the list too .

Add to it also a kickass debut in HW, I loved her as Serena in XXX3 .. She had a major role and girl was fire. Her intro scene itself makes me super proud of her. 😊

In Tamasha her performance was nuanced and significant. But apart from DP, I didn't like the movie much.

Yes Piku is my most favourite. It was all her, her eyes spoke volumes She made that character her own. Such an amazing film it was.

Tara was love Despite playing a small role. most reviewers mentioned that Tara was the best thing out of the movie and the story / the film was good when it remained with her. One of the major reasons for its failure was DP was in top form and as per promotions people expected it to be an easy love story but what we got in the film was Ved's story and very less of Deepika.

Lol I always feel that she has a genuine smile and that comes across for all her characters This scene is love. I jsut wish there was more of B and M. SLB did shoot a lot with them but had to edit it in the final cut. I really really hope SLB releases a directors cut version some time soon.

Exactly! DP was the best part of the movie despite having so less screen time in Tamasha. General audience wanted to see more of Tara. no wonder it failed.
