In the UK, Star plus is free with Sky variety pack. Even zee tv is free now because people stopped paying. So Zee tv was losing viewers and sky made them do a deal to give it free like star plus does... 😆

So on a different note - my husband is pissed off that sky has increased the prices so I need to call them and cut off the package we have now which they are charging extra for HD and box sets. So I asked my MIL would she be upset if HD is gone and she said earlier also they watched hindi tv without HD she will live with normal hindi tv... 😆 clearly if she can handle no HD, she can handle no hotstar...😆

Hotstar was mainly brought in to capitalise on the online and internet audience and it doesnt mean a thing to TRPs.

And you would be surprised to know that TRPs were the mist accurate when there were no set top boxes or HD channels. With set tops its more organised but the data is still skewed. And TRPs are divided into rural and urban to demarcate the non set top/ HD audience and the one with them.

So yes, HD or set top arent a deterrent when viewers are hooked to shows.

You must watch the epi tonight, Anami at her crude best. 👏

And Vikram stole the show, 'dekhtein hai lal mahal ki fiza mein kitni samajhdaari hai aur kitni saajhedaari'. 👏 Fabulous stroke of finesse by the writers. They are showing him as a broke father who knows he has spoilt sons and royally at that.

The show definitely makes up for a good watch.

Coming to RKC: something has happened between Satrupa Gayathri that they've a cordial relationship with each other but joins hands together only when the issue is about Anami. Gayathri wants the grandchild to be acknowledged and take over, she knows Baldev has messed up and she's not happy with the way Satrupa was pushed to the front sidelining her own son Baldev. But she also doesn't approve of Baldev's deeds. As a mother she must not have made an effort to reconcile Baldev with Vikram as Baldev keeps complaining that he's not been given a chance. Satrupa's response to Anami's words was so brilliantly portrayed by Narayani.

The gun laws in the US is scary. How can people be allowed to have access to ammunition like this.

I am not sure if they are going to shoot season 4 since the cast and crew have been threatened by the drug lords in Colombia ..heck one of the supporting crew who scouted the locations for shooting was killed in cold blood..a lot of feathers have been ruffled by the show's depictions of real life events..and with them showing more and more recent stuff with each season..the threat has increased

@RKC: would love to see gayatri-satrupa equation explored

Since I have missed several episodes in middle..why is Baldev against dheeru..wasn't he the one who was responsible for Dheeraj being framed

Also why do Gayatri and Vikramaditya expect Dheeraj to be on thier side when a) they believe he was wrong in past (so they shouldn't be expecting any good from him) or b) they know he wasn't at fault but yet was implicated and hence should be pissed at LM people

Adhiraj- Dheeraj: interesting to see how both father and son want to destroy LM but there is conflict in the way they want it

The show continues to impress

Liked the episode minus Avdoot - Tanya borefest

Anami held back..that was unexpected but nice..good to know that Gayatri through her soft approach and understanding is having an effect on Anami

vikram Aditya has 49% of the shares which at that time he thought it was great...so the total number of shares that were held by other investors added to 51%

Oberio the ring leader of this master plot got the other 51% of the total shares and wants to take over Royale Steele and will let Pujan run. 51% is the majority holder and if they all agree, they can take over.

BUTTT

the guy who owns 25% of the 51% was the last one left to sign to make it 51%. He never made it to the meeting and Dheeru now has him by the balls and has gotten him to give up his 25% to him. With this 25% Dheeru is making a deal with Vikramaditya to take the 25% and make it 74% but sign half of royale steel to him.

So they both will be 50-50 shareholders.

Masterstroke...with one chaal, dheeru has now not only got vikramaditya's attention he will get his due respect. He striked when the iron is hot... 😆

Btw, one must applaud Neerak Shukla and Sanjot Kaur for the script, its clearly their brainchild and I am glad they decided to show that one doesn't have to watch trip-catch-fall romance to create a niche, there are educated and intelligent viewers who like to watch well made stuff.

And this was simple mathematics we have all done and yet, tend to not use it, or associate it with TV. I hope more PHs take learnings from RKC. 😊
