Karthika as Draupadi is interesting, but whereas Rupa and Pooja are gorgeous, I don't find her beautiful enough for the role. :P

Janaki, I do agree that Anushka-Rana's chemistry in Rudramadevi was terrible, cause, Veerabhadra's characterisation isn't apt. Other than that, I really love them together. If both have their characters right, they will rock 😆 and, Rana's favorite actress is Anushka! 😉 I really want Yudhi-Drau to be awesome, that's why I chose these 2!

If Prabhas will play Bhima, PraNushka will steal the movie! 🤣 that's why I don't want Prabhas as Arjuna 😆 Nahi to ArDi naam jaap shuru

I watched Sri Ramarajyam! 🤢 Balakrishna is too old, common 😆 50+

And even Nayantara sucked! 🤢 Srikanth was better as Lakshmana though!

True, Rajamouli would choose stars or Bahubali actors again, as he wants it be a high budget movie. But, he'll never go for north actors. For Bahubali's Bhallala character, he approached some of the north actors, but they plainly refused saying it's a mere regional film! And now they are at shame seeing it's fame! 😆 Rajamouli won't approach them at all again 😆

SRJ got a lot of popularity as Srinivasa in ONV, so, Rajamouli might consider him. Let's see! 😊

I know, I felt the same. She has the attitude, but the beauty is somehow lacking. I would love to see Anushka as Panchali, and I want Rana as Karna, for some reason 😆

I liked and disliked different aspects of Rupa and Pooja in the role of Draupadi. Come to think of it, I don't think either of them was 100% perfect for the role.

I liked the elegance of Rupa, she seemed like a real queen and had the look of an empress, but I disliked her husky voice (it was too masculine) and she also did not portray the maternal aspect of Draupadi very well. She was too cool and distant with the Upa-Pandavas and Abhimanyu.

With Pooja, I loved the maternal aspect of Draupadi she brought out, especially in the latter episodes with Abhimanyu and the Upa Pandavas. She brought out the more loving and gentle aspect of Draupadi that so many overlook all the time. Draupadi was not always angry and feisty. But with Pooja, I disliked her weepy scenes, at times she made Draupadi look very weak, especially in the war scenes.

I think both these ladies excelled the most during the vastra haran. 👏 Those were their best scenes.

If Prabhas and Anushka played Bhima and Draupadi, I'd ship them forever! 😆 I already love Bhima-Draupadi, but I'd love them more, lol. I wouldn't mind Rana as Yudi, but I want an even better actor for that role because I want people's conception about Yudi to change, and Rana might do better as Karna. 😉

But let's see what Rajamouli does. He says he's not going to consider doing an MB until five more years, as the Bahubali franchise took up so much of his resources that he needs significant time to recuperate. 😆 He'll prob do a few normal movies until then. He's also considering a Ramayana, and says he'll only do one epic, either Ramayan or Mahabharat.

Balakrishna was so old, but he was also unfit. Ram had a large potbelly. 😆 But more than that, his acting sucked. He winked at Sita and was creepy. *shudders* His body language was totally unfit for the role.

I didn't like Nayantara either. All she ever did in the movie was cry, cry, cry. The character of Sita was such a crybaby, she wasn't the strong woman we love and adore. *rolls eyes*

Panchu - Hii! What's up, and how come you are disguised as Rudrae? 😆 I like Rana and Anushka too! 😳 If there is ever a Rajamouli MB, I would want only SRJ as Krishna. No debates there! And Bhim-Panch are her OTP, btw. 😆 She loves Bhim and Panchali. Eii, Jans, I am mostly updating my Bhim Panchu drabble soon

Those Drupad scenes were so bad though, in writing I mean, and totally fictional. I don't really blame Pooja for those, because she was going off the writing and they had Draupadi behave out of character. In fact everyone was out of character as that whole sequence was not even in the epic. Only scene I liked from that was Krishna and Draupadi's first meeting. The way SRJ said, 'mere mitra mujhe govind kehte hai, sakhi' was cute.

@Janaki- I have the same thoughts, but there's no one in the industry who can play this role better than Rana, I'm afraid they will consider any terrible actor If there is any actor who would excel Rana in this role, then I'm okay with it! 😊 True about Bhima Draupadi and PraNushka 😳
