So the song that Atif Aslam, Meesha Shafi and Fawad Khan have recorded is a revamped version of Alamgir's Dekha Na Tha!

The real fun will begging when JJ releases .. Hahaha imagine if it flops 😆 .. Ranveer anyway is useless, he won't have success outside bhansali's films and Ranbir is sandwiched between bash and kaif.. Too much fun ..

I'm sure tube light will under perform
Too, kitna under perform karey that's the question .. The overall appeal looks so dull

Honestly BW has lost its appeal for me. This year only 2 movies I watched in cinemas were dubbed Telugu movies. Now I dont know if loss of appeal is due to Fawad's exit or the quality of films itself have been so bad I dont know. I think the next film I am interested for is TOH which is releasing in 2018 Diwali.

No Shreya it's not due to Fawad's exit, a lot of ppl I know complains about the same thing that BW is not just interesting anymore. I feel the same too, and the nepotism and ass kissing is just too visible now to get ignored. I mean from a personal front I'm an oversea audience so I really don't care about the inner circles and how legendary a star is but there has to be something at least in the film making and quality of the films.

There was a time I used to watch Hindi movies a lot even more than Hollywood films, but too much exposure of Khans and influence of only two big studios and same old musicians, singers, concepts have ruined the interest.

For example tube light is an outright copy of lil boy whereas JHMS seems like a mashup of when Harry met Sally and jab we met, also a TOH is touted to be sth like pirates, so honestly why would one pay for these unless they're khan fans ? We do have better originals .. Ones khan stop ruling god knows who will bring money

I totally agree with you guys. BW has lost its flavour for me. Not because of Fawad but just the stupid movies it has been churning out lately with the same talentless star kids. Havent seen any movie since Dangal. Even Srk movies look boring😒
Now I am just looking forward to Spiderman.

I too am watching more HW movies but mostly on TV. Discovered a new liking for animation films lately. I am bored of HW superheroes movies too.
I think the main thing lacking in BW wrt Fawad has been his appearances in parties and events(mostly events) and his cover shoots for magazines. He hasnt done either in the 9 months while he used to regular with these earlier. I am guessing he is avoiding them due to his look in MJ. Once MJ shoot is done we will hopefully see more of him.
In the meantime we have to do guzara with his cameos in ads. Lets see when BoB starts and how much of him we see him in it.

I agree too much of comic book adaptations has also slowly brought down the interest from HW. But there are still good films and franchises that are cinematic pleasures, at least your money won't be wasted.

I usually watch Dicaprio and Cruise films in theatres and I think they're the only actors who are a joy on big screen and never gets lost among the big super heroic influences.

WRt Fawad I think it's good if he's working hard on MJ because if the film
Is a blockbuster it will be a great thing for all of them and since Fawas is the main lead, he will walk away with credits. I want him to do a telefilm or something which keeps him relevant to the masses also just because he's such a good actor and his peak years are passing like this

Something about Fawad's upcoming appearances:

While Pepsi has backed plenty of music initiatives in recent memory including the one-off season of Pepsi Smash and the successful Pepsi Unplugged (live music) series, the resurrection of Battle of the Bands is a safe bet for the corporate giant, given its past record.

The bigger news is that apart from roping in Faisal Rafi as music producer, the music/technical crew team includes the genius of our times, Ahsan Bari, while big stars who can make people tune in, such as Fawad Khan and Meesha Shafi are also involved in some capacity. Aaroh, the winner of the inaugural edition of Pepsi Battle of the Bands, have also reunited and will feature in the revival as well.

Fawad Khan, Meesha Shafi and Atif Aslam, three of Pakistan's biggest stars were seen at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore just this month where they were shooting for a commercial backed by Pepsi. Their presence will make people tune in and will give young artists a chance to find a national audience. With indie bands like Sikandar Ka Mandar, Jumbo Jutt, Keeray Makoray, ESharp and Malang Party alive and kicking, one can hope to see some of them get their moment. One also hopes that the show will bring the limelight back to bands that deserve it.

According to terms and conditions for participating in the music competition, you cannot apply as a solo artist. Every music group applying must include a minimum of two people and applicants must be between the ages of 16 to 35 years. Some other requirements include submitting one original and one cover song. Whether it's a cover or an original song, it must be sung in either Urdu or any regional language of Pakistan.
