Whoa! So Nejat is not Murat's father? 😲 I was watching the episode today where Murat reads his mum's letter. My internet ditched me in the middle of the letter and now I won't have time to resume till tomorrow. But I felt so bad for Murat! The poor guy's entire life has been a betrayal. And the way everything came to the fore - first Didem, his ex-gf's deception, then his current love's betrayal, barely is he trying to stable himself from the jolt of it that his mother and grandmother's deception will tear the guy apart. And I'm pretty sure that the reason he tells Hayat that he can't forgive her is more because of his mother's deception than hers. Hayat's paying a royal price for her lies.

I read on Wiki that Murat mentally tortures Hayat after the marriage - yet to see how that unfolds. But from a plot perspective, I absolutely loved the way they have crafted the story so far (till the marriage - that's here I currently am). If it was a Hindi drama, we wouldn't have seen the end of the ML's anger -and probably even revenge games- after such a deception. Here, though he is pained, hurt and torn, he wants to forgive her and start afresh. Loved the way he's still concerned about her well-being and trying to make things normal between them. But his mother's letter destroyed everything and shook him up completely.

Also, does anyone else here enjoy Derya-Murat scenes and interactions? I love them! The way Murat doesn't tolerate her nonsense is something that I absolutely delight in! 😆
