Asmi I agree with you... Even that's my most fav sequence. Had manjule shown it as a fling or an affair and chalta hai the film would have bombed plus the title would have lost its charm. Apart from everything I feel manjule has justified the title "sairat" very well. And I guess because of that mini separation and reconciliation scene I enjoyed the wedding sequence thoroughly. It was short but sweet. Throughout the scene I had a huge smile plastered on my face 😳 😆
Cmn to ur take on education and common sense. I agree to you. In fact in the movie as the teacher gave Parshya the disgusting idea I was reminded of our discussions on education of actors or smthn. I was like ye bande ko Dekho. Kehne ko h teacher but no use of education 👎🏼.
Education always gives a ground to stand on but with common sense you can soar high with your feet firmly planted on ground.
I have seen the "well-educated" ppl behaving like dumbs so many times.
As a society we really need to expand our horizons and broaden our concepts. Unfortunately on the name of advancement our society is embracing things like live in relations and what not. Yes freedom is important. But if we see the stats ppl in live in have higher divorce rates.
We aren't really breaking what needs to be broken.
And c sairat shows it so sensibly. The duo tried to break the caste barriers but they stayed true to their relation. Yes they did stay together, had fights but they both conquered triumphantly.
I have seen children of like 9th and 10th or even less hanging out together. If you overhear them u'll get they are the so called "gf bf". Here I partially agree with ppl saying that films make children behave like this. But then again I think how many of them can even reach the level of Archie and Parshya? Why are the adults ignoring this aspect of their togetherness?
I think what really governs the relation of a parent and child is guidance, freedom and friendship.
When I had a debate with my mom's friend who was very much on the stand ki what they showed in Sairat spoils children. I only had one question : even I have watched many movies, did I run away? Did I simply roam around?
Why are particular cases framed in general?
I have watched movies like the dirty picture,Ram leela, rajneeti with my mother. I hardly remember any time when my mother said anything to me. She said or she didn't say either ways it hasn't spoiled me.
But things do become twisted with small kids. Mujhe samajh hi ni ata jab logo ko Iska darr lagta h ki the movie will spoil their kids why bring them in the first place? I guess I started watching movies in theatre with swades. My brother always kept a tab. This is good, this isn't good. But again smthn with good yet raw content kids should always be told what is good and what isn't. Kitna real h kitna unreal.
This whole thing again zeroes to generation gap. The only solution to it is a healthy communication.
Cmn to salman. I don't understand why is he even making movies. Not a single sensible movie has he made from wanted. He's giving repetitive stuff.. Only bajrangi was different all thanx to Kabir khan. Juz like you asmi even I pray iski ek picture toh jabardast bomb ho BO but unfortunately bhai has many admirers like him
