If kids grow up learning the wrong story, I will blame it on their parents only, because it's the parents' responsibility to raise their kids properly, teaching them the Ramayana and Mahabharata from the books first before showing them any mytho serial. The Amar Chitra Kathas on Ramayan and Mahabharat are superb and accurate, and if parents themselves don't know the story, then they should read it first and then teach kids.

Any parents who leave their kids in front of the TV and let them watch any show they want are at fault for what their kids learn.

My little brother is 9 years old, and he knows the Ramayan and Mahabharat so well, back to back. He knows events even I did not know at that age, because my parents and I take a lot of time to teach him the proper story.

Now when he watches mytho shows, he himself points out the distortions. 😆

While I do agree with what you say but these TV and internet too play an important role in making or breaking a child's psyche! TV shows such as heavily distorted SKr or CAS or MP do spoil the kids for sure!
