I saw the promo of VD's new show!! He looks horrendous!! And his pairing with Rubina is going to suck big time!! Predominately because she looks too good in front of him, and his one hand looks bigger than her entire body!! Disproportionate couple!

Chitrangda Singh who was to be seen opposite Nawazzudin Siddiqui's "Babumoshai Bandookbaaz" has walked out of the project.

If reports in an entertainment portal are to be believed, Chitrangda was forced by the director Kushan Nandy to do a sex scene.

A source was quoted by the website, "Kushan got a bit too engaged in the scene in question, which required Nawaz to only pull Chitrangada roughly on the bed and realise that someone is watching them. Kushan was not happy with the first take. He thundered: Chitrangada, you ought to get literally on top of Nawaz. Tange ragdo and s*x karo." (sic)

Further the report states these statements by the director didn't go down well with Chitrangada who instantly snapped back at him. But, Kushan asked her to talk about it privately. To this she lost her cool and retorted at the director,"Now that you have started it in front of so many people, why end it in a place away from them? What do you think of yourself, Kushan?"(sic)

Even after all this drama unfolded, the actress completed the shot in three takes and walked away from the sets in tears.

It is a known fact, that time and again Abhishek Bachchan has been targeted for his performances in his films. He has always faced the brunt of comparison with his father Amitabh Bachchan and wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

However, the actor has always taken it all very sportingly. But, at the recent event held for the success for his film 'Housefull 3', Jr. Bachchan lost his cool!

When the actor was asked whether he has any upcoming projects where he will be seen playing the lead role, he retorted: "I hope so. If you have a nice script, I'll be more than happy to read it. But I didn't understand your question."

When mentioned as a 'solo actor', he said: "As the only person in the film? It will be a very boring film."

When the journalist clarified that he meant 'male lead', by now Abhishek got little irritated and said: "So I act like a female right now or what? I'm not understanding your question."

Further when the media tried to explain him by giving the examples of his previous films like 'Guru' and 'Bluffmaster', where he was the 'lead', Abhishek said: "In 'Bluffmaster', I had wonderful co-actors called Riteish Deshmukhand Boman Irani. In 'Guru' I had wonderful co-actors like Mithun da (Mithun Chakraborty), Maddy (R. Madhavan), Aishwarya (Rai) and Vidya Balan. What're you trying to say?"

When told about being a 'male lead' in 'Guru', he said: "Mithun da and Madhavan were male actors in that as well."

When told that he was the 'lead actor' in these two films, Abhishek finally said:"I don't think so. I don't look upon films like that. My definition is slightly different. I believe anybody, no matter how big or small their role, is equally responsible for the film and in the success or the failure. I don't like to differentiate just based on the size of the role.

"If you look at 'Housefull'; It's a wonderful franchise and the most popular character of the 'Housefull' franchise is Chunky (Pandey), who shot for just three days in the film. Aakhri Pasta (Chunky's character) has got the biggest recall in the 'Housefull' franchise. So the size of the role shouldn't matter."

Abhishek concluded by saying: "I just feel that every actor should be given the love and respect as his fellow actor. So I have never believed in this word 'solo male lead', for me a solo film is when you're doing it alone; you're the only person in the film."

On Sunday, CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani said censor board has cleared 'Udta Punjab' with 13 cuts under the 'A' category.

BHOPAL: The censor board has cleared the controversial drug-themed Bollywood film 'Udta Punjab' with 13 cuts under the 'A' category, its chairman Pahlaj Nihalani said on Sunday.

"We have today cleared Udta Punjab under A (restricted for adult audience) category after 13 cuts," Mr Nihalani told reporters on the sidelines of a function in Bhopal.

Mr Nihalani, who was in the eye of the storm over suggesting a very large number of cuts, said nine members of the Central Board of Film Certification watched the film and "unanimously" cleared it after the proposed 13 cuts.

"The CBFCs job is now over. It is now up to the producer to go to the court or tribunal. We will implement the order," Mr Nihalani said.

The Abhishek Chaubey directed film is tentatively scheduled for release on June 17.

The CBFC's revising committee had suggested a number of changes in the movie, which stars Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor-Khan and Diljit Dosanjh, and deals with the problem of drug addiction among youth in Punjab.

Meanwhile, responding to a query, Mr Nihalani, who has been criticised by the film fraternity for his "dictatorial attitude" said, "those call me cheap are themselves 'ghatia' (lowly)".

Mr Nihalani clarified that he never called himself as "chamcha" (sycophant) of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"There is nothing wrong in admiring the Prime Minister. I never said (I am) a chamcha," he said.

The makers of the movie, Phantom Films had approached the Bombay High Court against an order of the revising committee of CBFC that suggested certain changes in the film.

A string of changes proposed included removing a signboard mentioning Punjab and other suggestions.

The High Court had on Friday said that the makers of 'Udta Punjab' should tone down expletives and vulgar scenes as these alone cannot make a film work.

A division bench had concluded hearing arguments on the petition and is expected to pass order in the case today.

I saw without voice. so no comments. waise bhi my comments wont matter as I have left watching Indian dramas. infinite episodes without any logic after few episodes wat Indian serials are. and if this serial gets TRP then it will go on and on like BV, SSK etc etc.
