Annie and Jay go nicely together

Anastasia is a Russian name and with James it sounds really grown up.

So you're okay. It all depends on your characterisation. If you write the character really well then whatever the name they'll grow into it and be unforgettable.

Belladona is a poisonous plant too. Also called deadly nightshade.

yaa I know about Belladonna's in my biology. OK now I need surnames for them. I don't know any related to other countries so...

Think about where each character comes from, their background and then look up names from those places.

Stalk people on Facebook with interesting names.

Some writers even visit graveyards to take names.

But you have to think a little about what your character's background is. Where they come from, their family to help you a little. Otherwise just stick any name that sounds okay if you get stuck.

Did you know JK Rowling spent 5 years planning harry potter?

I was shocked to learn it but happy too.

I don't even know any place. The only place I know is my home and school and IF. I can't use Anastasia khurana or James Bhalla right. So can you suggest. please

😆 I had a similar problem. I'm not indian and I had to come up with lots of indian names for my characters.

Unless they're mixed race or indians with English first names

Up to you.

Quick cheat. Type anastasia in face book and see what surnames pop up

Then pick one and use it. Do the same for james.
