Yes, i wanted to push Sanam into sea. Maybe like one of the ancient sages, create a sea at first and then ff to season3. Last few days of season2 is beyond torture.😆

And no point in blaming the Govt or society for it. It begins at home.
Up here in North India, especially, the BiMaRu and Up states, women are not respected. Period.
The language that these guys use is exactly the mindset they're brought up with. Women have to remain in the house, under ghoonghat, else, they're public property.
These kindof guys don't respect their mothers or sisters or daughters. Its sickening and its true. There can be a policeman at every street corner, but still things will not change, till the man of the house starts respecting the woman of the house and boys grow up in that environment.
The sex ratio in schools is horribly skewed. Its still not safe to go out after sunset. And you would be surprised at the sexual abuse that occurs in rich royal families. Prem Rog is a reality, even to this date.

As you rightly said it's not just education but the values given/taught at home which are also important.

Look at some of the statements made by some people:

"Women are raped because they have sexual needs"

"Women are raped because of the kind of clothes they wear"

"Women are responsible for rape most of the times because of their own actions"

HELLO!!! Will someone say "Women are raped because of the sick mentality of men?"

DISGUSTING!!!

It's high time men respected women and women respected themselves and other women too.

So I finally watched Badlapur and loved it. Varun is very good. He has put in a lot of hard work and it shows.

The star of the movie for me was none other than Nawazuddin. That man is such a brilliant actor. It didn't feel like he was acting at all. So natural and effortless 👏.

It sure is Sriram Raghavan's best till date. Jee karda at the end was picturised very well. I just felt it was a bit too long but I wasn't bored.
