The four characters which pillars of the story are still very much around.

Yes he is one of the pillars of THE SHOW because he is such a good actor they could run so many parallel tracks with him like they are now doing with SaBra -Kabra and GNN.

His character has reached it's end what more could they show - except that he became old and died leaving a relatively young Gehna a widow?

There are more possibilities to create story for Gehna and not for him.

Having said that he does remain one of my fav actors

Pillars of any story are made and as story changes, the story gets new pillars. After all new stories need new foundations. And story of BV is story of Anandi, Dsa, Jagya and Shiv.

Anandi's story in BH was over when she shifted to Jaipur. The foundations it rested on were no longer required. Moreover the stories of those pillars had already been hashed and rehashed. Basant's father's story, Dadisa's story, Bhairon's alleged love affair, Basant and two wives, Anandi's father, his poverty, losing land, regaining land etc etc. under these conditions Anandi the girl grew, turned into a woman.

Every family has a foundation. Has a history. In KB Shiv and Anandi have new pillars. Now it is turn of stories of Shiv's family's pillars. We have already seen some stories, now others. And under the shadow of these stories Anandi will flower, will grow in stature.

Basant is right. Story written for characters in show, not the dead or unseen ones. He is intelligent😎

I so want Anandi to say Mhara Banka Sajeela Beendsa in person to his face

Was watching Feb 2013 episodes after a looong time without feeling all those emotions which were caused by that abrupt replacement

Now those scenes and all the scenes that came after replacement have merged so seamlessly instead of abrupt ending and a new beginning they look more like gradual transition😊

That whole month a lot of work must have been going on behind the scenes finalising and then preparing the replacement for the role and the actors' work shop and what not

on the screen those scenes were just so lovely and so enchanting

Great work from both the actors👏
