Before I got to my long dinner break which usually takes about two hours I wanted to mention something.
Yesterday on YouTube i found the new song from tevar called radha nachegi.
Now I understand they are trying to appeal to younger audience through the use of beats, semi classical being made fashionable and redefining mythological/religious characters and stuff but even I felt that they could have done a nicer song on Radha both lyrics and choreography wise. it was edging on an item song.
She is revered in Hinduism is she not, so why do they make songs about her devotion to Krishna/kanha in such a way - i can't put it in words but i don't like it.
It spoke about 'attitude' but was that or is that really necessary?
Same issue with radha from SOTY, the lyrics were not exactly pleasing to me concerning it had to do with deities that people believe in.
also kamli as well. when i heard the audio i thought it was a beautiful song demonstrating one's devotion unto their beloved - be it god or human. but when i saw the video my mouth went like this 😲
do you guys think they should think twice about how they represent religion in songs out of curiosity?

Naa yaar. He killed the show. Ruined it.

Spoofs on other Goenkas were more creative.

He has been getting too much limelight. Ads, media coverage. Whereas he does not deserve it.

That ad is played so often that I hate it,
