Lets be real.. this was b/s excuse of partiality.. He made a huge mistake by not saving her... its really that simple...and first one can save and then help make captain.. nomination ka bachna is never guaranteed esp for WC (and its clear these HMs have no idea who is being liked and why!!!)... so lets not just assume things on what he will do but rather have POV on what he does (or doesnt!!)

Moreover, P2 knew that Gautam will make impartial decision during nominations and thats why they were hesitant to make him captain with other insecurites of P2 added to it.
