Zee TV's popular show, Qubool Hai (4 Lions Films) is on track to take a generation leap. And as reported by us, the show will have a fresh cast except for the female protagonists, Surbhi Jyoti and Additi Gupta.

It's already out in the media that Beintehaa fame Harshad Arora will be the new male lead. Joining him as the leads will be two fresh faces, Ankit Raj and Randeep Malik.

Ankit Raj, from Jabalpur is a popular name in the fashion world. He's walked the ramp for all the top designers such as Manish Malhotra, Rohit Bal, Troy Costa, Karan Johar to name a few. His penchant to acting lead him to give his first ever audition for 4 Lions Films, and he was immediately chosen to play the lead role in Qubool Hai.

As per a reliable source, "Ankit will be one of the leads, along with Harshad. His character will be a guy with a modern approach, handsome and suave."

Talking about Randeep Malik, he has been a successful name in modeling, and has done quite a lot of commercial ads. He has acted in the not-yet-released movie Love 4 Ever, made by the Telugu Director.

Our source states, "Randeep will play the role of a simple, hard-working boy in one of the new families introduced. His character will be a close friend of Ankit Raj's character."

We tried contacting the actors, but did not get through to them.

As we had earlier reported, Shashank Vyas has put in his papers to end his journey with Balika Vadhu. And the latest buzz is that Jagya will soon be played by Shakti Anand. The actor is currently seen on Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap and Hum Ne Li Hai... Shapath.

The makers had been rigorously looking out for a face to replace Shashank and Shakti seemed to fit the bill. We tried contacting Shakti Anand but he remained unavailable.

Shakti has garnered a lot of love as Maharana Udai Singh in Pratap but will he be able to garner same love for Jagya? Lets hope so
