One show i loved was Arjun on SP. That started brilliantly and ran for a good amount of time with rarely any W*F moments but was seriously hampered by actors leaving the show.
I still rate it as one of the best shows in crime/thriller genre.

Also the YRF mini shows were brilliant. I dont know why they dont do it any more.

I also stopped watching two weeks ago when my mom left the city for my aunt's illness. I'm sure that even she won't be watch this shit anymore.

It makes me cringe that I once recommended this show to her.

I only used to read your analysis of the episode. Not even the written updates.

Laut Aao Trisha? I used to watch repeats for Eijaz Khan but now I only read updates. Who knows, I might start watching it again. Though not religiously, but once in a while if the TV is free.

I am not loyal. You see, if a show bores me, I don't watch it anymore. I have done this with Ek Nayi Pehchan on Sony (which turned out to be anything but senseless drama) and Saraswatichandra (same as above - over the top drama)

Can't Indian TV be sensible?

Well I'm watch Kaisi Yeh Yaarian on MTV and Nisha aur uske cousins on yours truly Star Plus.

So what are you guys watching?

I miss khotey sikkay..it was awesome..sony tv has the right ideas but the trp aunties refuse to let any such shows run..

The ONLY show I watch these days is 'Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan' on MTV

The reasons are as follows-

1.Door door tak NO scope for saa-bahu drama.

2. The concept is somehow inspired from a Korean drama 'Boys over flowers' which was a MEGA HIT!

3. They're all more or less fresh faces in here. They've done acting bits previously here and there but still...they're all like a breath of fresh air!

4. The show doesn't PRETEND to be something else and show something else. Music forms the backdrop of the story- there's friendship, lost teenagers, romance, matured conversations, reference of topics ranging from BDSM to Star Wars and most importantly A HEROINE WITH A BACKBONE AND A PROPERLY-FUNCTIONING BRAIN!

5. There's scheming parents, bonds formed during childhood and going strong in adulthood, relationship insecurities, an accident that somehow connects two people...the list is ENDLESS!

I'd suggest you to watch this show from the beginning- you might find the bullying and everything disturbing but continue watching it and you WILL fall in love with the show! Given that we both love strong female characters, you'll SURELY love the female lead, Nandini! 😃

Oh KS. That was brilliant. The NO 1 show on TV according to me from those i watched. I loved that show too much. I have all the episodes downloaded and watch whenever i feel like watching. MY mobile ringtone is the KS title song.😆
MAX showed 2 episodes of KS recently as a telefilm . The first epi and the email riddle epi. 😊

I read all your updates. That too daily. I didn't know that you also were a fan of EHT once upon a time. That is if you're still watching the show.

Nandini Moorthy is gotta be be one of the best heroines in recent times. Even Durga was a great heroine till the sacking of the professor. And then it all went downhill. I don't even know this Durga anymore.

I was planning on making a topic on Kaisi Yeh Yaarian today. do you think people will read it? I mean it won't be a long one just a small one about Monster Manik Malhotra.
