Why is your movie Main aur Mr.Right' taking so long to release?

I genuinely don't know. Once I wrapped up the shooting of the film, I moved on to my other projects. Lot of the times, The amount of films which release every year is only a quarter of the films which were made. In fact, My new film " Amit Sahni Ki List " which is releasing next month was shot exactly the same time as Main aur Mr.Right was shot and it took 2 years to see light. Some times the producers want to hold on to it and see what helps, Hows the media moving, How the films are moving, Which directions the films are going in and then cut accordingly. The honest answer is I don't know why its taking so long for the film to come out but I am sure it will come out in its due time.

We have heard a lot about your friendship with Barun Sobti. He was also part of Shady Nook program for an year.Tell us about your friendship with Barun Sobti ?

The first time we met on the sets of MAMR, Me n Barun found a common ground straightaway with being from the TV background. Every one working within the film pretty much was kind of their first film or their first professional work and we found great friendships and the entire cast got so close throughout the making of the film. Me and Barun have so many things in common. We both are married, Love playing football. Genuinely, He is the nicest guy I have ever met. He has a very huge fan following but that doesn't come across in his attitude. I don't think he understands his stardom , How popular he is and that's a very nice phase to be in. For me he is normal guy which I have worked and maintained friendship with. I have only got nice things to say about Barun. He is a great actor and a friend.
