Why does every show of sanaya has to be seen through the IPK prism . IPK was one show which had a lot of fan following , RR is another ...what is this constant need to prove that IPK was the best and RR is a poor copy or vice versa.

RR is a love story ...and in daily soaps you do have some similar situations like RR had that jaipur dance or as the wise ones are acclaiming yesterday's bday party 😆 Infact I am told that BI had some scenes and dialogues totally copied from IPK which is supposed to have been copied from geet and so on ...

I am not sure abt the BI thing though as shows I don't like ...I don't watch and especially donot watch the offscreen segments 😆

I am told the mother of all romantic shows is an ektaa show called kavvyaanjali and every show is kinda based on that premise . Gul's shows ...especially the romantic scenes and the premises of the lead ie brooding ML with a dark past and a bubbly chirpy FL are a set formulae ..if you ask me story wise QH is a far stronger show ( all side characters well developed ) that is why the show was in top 10 last week , inspite of all the off screen news ...

their are so many ppl in the RR forum who have not watched IPK and infact some strongly dislike it , their favourite show is that mishal raheja one LTL and some other colours shows ...so what . Every show has its own set of followers and RR has its own ...

I have been watching KB for the last one week or so ...its based on the whole hate marriage premise and the storyline has a strong deja vu feel to it ...but so what ...sriti and shabbir and all the other characters bring their own spin . Its doing fine ...

More likely, considering the way QH is going, if it had continued with a new hero and revived, then as long as we got a decent story, people would have come to terms with it ... esp as BS's next movie was announced in a few days time. Of course, the same people would have still cried themselves hoarse that the new chemistry is not a patch on the old, and continued bashing ... which is probably why SP took the call to shut it down.

I think the reason QH is doing well and the fans have accepted KSG leaving is because KSG himself was not ambivalent, he came out and made clear statements, he is obviously on very good terms with Gul, he's her co-producer now ... so his fans have no reason to bash either Gul or Surbhi. And most importantly, he is DOING something ... he's co-producing, he's bagged a film with Bipasha (hopefully this one will get made and released, his first one didn't get released either). He's very muc in the public eye still. And the main reason San's shows remain under scrutiny, is because BS has not appeared on screen since then ... the frustration with his non-appearance is building higher and higher ... and since he is of course God, and infallible, all the frustration vents out on Sanaya ... people have to prove that the success of IPK was all due to BS ... since BS has done nothing since then to prove that or otherwise, they target Sanaya.

Honestly, I don't think the success of IPK can be replicated in a hurry ... it was one of those rare shows where everything came together in just the right way ... for the first nine months. Which is why I feel BS was such a big fool ... he did not realise the value of what he had, and threw it away. I really wish SP had not pressured Gul, and had agreed to replace him in Feb '11 itself ... things might have been very different.

Anyway, no point crying over all that now ... it's over and done with. I want to watch Kavyanjali ... quite a few people have told me about it. The problem is Sanaya has spoiled me for romantic shows ... I can't feel the same connect with any heroine now ... although I like a few of the other actresses too.

And Sp played their game quite cleverly by briging in ekta aftr 3-4 yrs and starting Mahabharat...sab ne socha no IPK Sp taale markar chala jaeega..proof is there...
