Yup..There is something called vishu kani which you need to look at before sunrise or something😕 And go take bath immediately thereafter..My memory sucks but yeah this is probably why i need to get up early tomorrow😆

Ah ok 😃. I wake up at 4 am only on Narakchaturdashi, the first day of Diwali for oil massage and bath before sunrise 😆. Cute traditions 😳.

I like it for the same reason you dislike it 😆. As a kid (and even now) I used to find it super exciting to wake up early just this once in a year and play with sparklers after bath and then go back to sleep till mum finishes her bath and makes idlis 😆.
