9:30am - (UNOFFICIAL) Flight MH370 has resurfaced and landed safely in Nanming, China. Early reports say that the aircraft had experienced a cockpit electronics malfunction.

As of this moment, the flight crew and all 239 passengers onboard are believed to be unharmed as some of the crew has already informed their families of their safety.

Missing flight MH370: Report on Nanning landing not true

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Airlines (MAS) confirms reports which stated flight MH370 had made an emergency landing in Nanning, China is false.

"We have checked with ground control and it's not true," said Fuad Sharuji, VP Operation Control on Saturday.

He said during the last reported contact at 35,000 feet, around two hours from KLIA, there was no call from the crew or notification from the tower that they were having any kind of difficulties.

"As of now, we still have no clue on where it is right now" he told CNN at 10.45am.

MAS is holding a press conference at 11am.

A report by China's Xinhua news agency said contact was lost with the lane while it was over Vietnamese airspace.

Xinhua also quoted Chinese aviation authorities saying the plane did not enter China's air traffic control sphere.
