That was my feeling about Parineeti too ... that she was getting very typecast ... I liked her in the roles, but they were all similar ... saw both Ricky Behl and SDR ... didn't see Ishaqzaade, but I think she was the same there. In HTP she is somewhat different ... not completely, but not as loud and brash as her earlier roles. But she does need to do something different now.
Again, how many different roles are really there in BW for the girls? Very few ... very, very few of the type that they have to really play someone totally different from what they are in real life. Last year we had some good movies like Barfii, English Vinglish etc ... this year there haven't been any truly different movies of that type. Or am I forgetting any? I don't remember any notable female roles after Deepika in CE and YJHD ... or maybe I just haven't seen any.
