A couple of points which you have said, made my eyes just pop out. Well I am sure you will realise by now that this id has been specifically created to put this comment and I am sure that you will want to tell me that if I feel so strongly about something then I should not hide myself. Well what can I say sometimes a cloak of invisibility is required and I definitely would not want to pick up a bashing session or get banned here just because I tried to show some home truths. Makes sense!

This post for me is the height of hypocrisy. There I said it. why you ask well my reasons are below. Not going to take any name cause I am sure you are indeed very smart to figure out whom and what I am talking about.

Complicated sentence construction Well recently I came across a post on the winner of FF of the week.. And you know what I started reading the story and trust me the whole time my good friend Google had to help me with some of the words that were used and I definitely know for a fact that people these days don't use that kind of language in very day conversation. I have come across such complex words only during competitive exams.

No I am not taking anything away from the author of that story. Well that's the way she writes and i did find the story very endearing as i read it 2 days back. But I wonder how so many people here actually read that story and not just read but award it as well. WOW. Isn't it contradictory to what you and lot of others have said here.

The Author's Bias Does the author wanting certain group of friends on the first page of her update and a specific person as first res not fall into author bias.

Also what about when a author stops updating just because a particular friend/ reader is travelling and can't do a RES. And actually tells the other languishing readers that I am very busy and once the friend/reader comes back all the things that kept the author busy magically disappear. What a great coincidence!

I am sure most of the people on this thread will be baying for my blood by now. But I really think that nobody is so clean that they can point out fingers to others. Mud does have a tendency to stick back.

I have my 2 cents to put to the other things you said as well but I think I will resist. This is enough for now.

The yardstick of measurement should be same for everybody here! Something to think about!

If she had so much problem with Kay, why did she visit the PoL thread?

And didn't she understand my post? It was 'why do you not read a story' and not 'why do you read a story silently but not comment on it because you hate the author and then make MIDs to make your point?'

Atleast we take the mud on our own IDs and not MIDs. If its not good to point fingers at others (which I didn't) then why is a noble soul like her doing that? (She did point a finger or two at Kay and Saiyu)

Hypocrisy! There I said it! Oops plagiarism 😆

I did not read this on that thread you made, I did not comment on the thread either. If I want to tell you something I come to you directly and I do that always.
The first point - it reeks of jealousy to me. The person is so narrow minded she can not see good in anything. Competitive exam, please she should hear my sister speak, she would know that the English language it not limited. But this person is so petty, she would not look beyond her limited knowledge. Does she not see it as an opportunity to learn a new word, if she finds the language so tough she should stick to reading Chetan Bhagat and not an FF on IF about IPK.
Second point - where is there no bias in the world. I would go that extra mile for the reader who cared to invest so much time in my story. She not only helped proof read, she provided motivation to write, while the other emotionally invested readers came read...bitched about it with friends and made such posts. I had a reader who did not comment even once while the story was posted on IF, that is 180 odd chapters, come and demand access to the blog. I politely declined and she called me rude. I asked her to mind her language.
I respect your wish not to comment the same way the person who makes baseless comments and demands, should respect my right to choose who I wait for and whom I give access to my blog.
My two cents to all those people who create MIDs to voice themselves. Get a life and while you are doing it, get a spine too.

Thats what! How can she judge my level of English knowledge to hers when she doesn't even know me! My own sister cannot do that and this one is a virtual stranger!

But Kay thats the problem with such people they are so full of themselves that they don't look beyond their own self and think that they own the world!

@ bold - I honestly don't have an issue with this, it is a free world and everyone is born free to do as they please. The issue arises when they force their opinion on others. I object to that, in a perception driven world everyone has a right and wrong, it is not necessary for everyone to be in agreement with your right and wrong.
I am a very opinionated person, the important part of being such a person, I don't force it on anyone. I voice it and defend it, but certainly don't force it on others.
