Sriti Jha, popular as Balika Vadhu's Ganga, was recently in news when she decided to quit the show, just when the track was focusing on her.

According to sources, she exited because she felt that her character did not turn out the way she had imagined it would. However, Sriti maintains a politically correct stance about her exit. She says, "Balika Vadhu happened to me because I worked hard in my earlier shows. So, in a way, they are responsible for building my identity. Despite our hard work and the number of hours we put in, content is the hero of every show. So as far as I am concerned, it's not about me, and very soon people will start identifying Sargun Mehta with the character Ganga as she is portraying it well."

Does she regret quitting the show? "No, I don't regret my decision that I left a popular show likeBalika Vadhu. I am happy that I am out of the show and took a break for a month in Delhi. I am waiting for TV offers now." Ask her if she is wanting to do similar roles and she says, "I am open to anything. Am not limiting myself because I became popular as Ganga. I want to do anything interesting that is offered to me."

Several bands performed at India Gate as part of the voice Of Vote concert organized by Office Of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Delhi. Toral Rasputra aka Anandi of Balika Vadhu, who is also the brand ambassador for the campaign to motivate voters, was present here, and asked the people to go to the election booth on December 4. "It's very important, especially for Women, to cast their vote as that is the only way you can choose your own government."

Ameya Abhyankar, district magistrate, New Delhi district, asked the audience, 'Is Delhi gonna vote? Are you having a good time? Rock on people and let's get ready to vote." The audience sang along when Mrigya took to the stage and performed a fusion of classical and rock. This was followed by Shibani Kashyap, who asked people to treat voting as a celebration.

Thereafter, Parikrama performed, and there was lots of headbanging. After their gig, Euphoria took over. Palash Sen also asked the government officials to stand up and sing along. He said, "Hamaari Election Commission duniya ki sabse shaandar Election Commission hai. No election commission will organize a rock concert to motivate people to vote."
