Yup seems like the PH is spending lots of money for this show. I just hope they have an concrete story to back up the expenditure. Sorry to say both the 2 serials produced by Nautanki PH have major loopholes in the story and the twists are horrible to say the least and now seems like their show Do Dil is going to end. Saurabh is little tough in this case and he is not going to give too much leeway for the soap if it fails to get TVTs.

Somehow, I don't know why, I get the feeling that the story is going to be something they are going to make up as they go much like they are doing in Madhubala. A solid story is a must and without that it is difficult to make an mark. And I certainly hope that the lead is not going to be a girl with her head in clouds and a blind trust on love.

Psy. I don't think Madhubala is a weak story. Infact, I think its very solid. As happens with every story that runs long and is a daily show, there are filler episodes and sequences.

In Madhubala, they started off from her birth, the backstory of her mother, her hate for the film industry, how she ends up marrying RK, the love hate love hate love hate love hate drama, then the fall of RK, the rise of Madhubala the actress...

Also, the side actors in the show are very relevant and have been that way from day one. No wonder, its having a decent run still.

Nope Howieji, I tried to watch MB in between and absolutely hated the story when RK - MB had that 4 phere wala shaadi, was it shaadi or love disguised or revenge, hell it was one irritating track and finally they said it was revenge by RK. Then came the sultan track and that was one horrible track, Sultan was a good guy and finally he lusted after MB - yuck. And now they have some track of RK becoming paralyzed and Madhu pregnant and Madhu shooting. The story in the promos is that of a girl who is born in studios but who ultimately ends up alone. That promo to this story was really not a good ride and definitely not a logical one and that is my opinion.

And then in Do dil I watched because I thought it was a story of a gangster who falls in love with a Kashmiri refugee and then the reports were that they were shooting in Kashmir and all that. Today they utterly gutted down the love story of Raghu and Antara when they showed Antara marrying his brother for revenge. It was horrible and both the shows started with some premise but the story ended up entirely different. That is what I meant by the PH is making up the story as they go for both the shows and hope that is not the case for San's show and they indeed have an story on hand before they start the shooting.

Chalo finally - SP awakens to the reality and now Iss pyar ko is a saas bahu show.

I don't understand what was the point of having the show named IPK if they were to always have saas bahu twist in the show. Unnecessarily they just made the fans riled up and now the show is back to saas bahu concept. Complete morons I say.

I don't disagree that their subplots sometimes are tedious but thats the case with any long running show (ektaa, Balika badhu, candle wick, etc).

2, Whats wrong with Sultan lusting after MB? There were enough reasons for the plot to go that route instead of accidental death or plastic surgery 😛

I 👏 them to actually have a story before they started and sticking to what they planned to do two years ago till now. Ofcourse, if they didn't have all these plots the show would end in less than 6 months and that doesn't work for desi soaps!

So I saw the first two episodes of TP since everyone was talking about it.
