I hope too Nidhi!! I get very very upset when women are treated this way!! I am not able to comprehend the situation!! Girl friends are needed to vent which is much needed. But you kind of gently point to the hubby's postitives coz you want them together...

So true S. I was really furious at my friend's hubby but I kept reasoning his actions as she kept saying I will leave him. Yes, we need girlfriends bas!! As a matter of fact, I wasn't planning on being online but I needed CC time to get this out of my system 🤗

My two cents ... a lot of it depends on upbringing and a little bit on the relationship you have shared over the years.

Sad but true...there are women who don't express early on and ofcourse there are those who express and get abused too.

But marraiges are tricky...there is give and take. But one should somehow figure out whether it is worth working on or not. If it is worth it...we figure out ways to make it work.

Sounds easy in words but thats the hardest part.

BINGO!! I totally agree and in fact I said the same to my friends too..and turns out their FILs treated their MILs the same way. And these two have kept quiet for a long a time and now their husband's have taken them for granted.

Indeed marriage is tricky and every marriage is different and only two people can make it or break it - husband and wife. Its a journey of equals where we need to take turns to lead it.

Bashing of partners in lighter vein is acceptable and its healthy and venting about partners to close friends is fine too. But complaining about them publicly is not at all good for a relationship...it only creates more cracks!!
