Madhu (Drashti Dhami) has been worried about her husband RK's (Vivian Dsena) future as far as movies are concerned in Colors' Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon (BAG Films/ Nautanki Telefilms). Reason? He has been banned by the film industry and nobody is willing to cast him in their movie projects.

Soon there will be new trouble knocking at her door in the form of her mother-in-law's elder sister.

As reported earlier, veteran actress Navneet Nishan will essay the role RK's Mausi, who will be old fashioned in her approach towards life.\

Furthermore, we hear that Mausi's entry will take the story back in the 70s era.

How?

Well, Mausi will expect Madhu to do things in a certain archaic manner. This would include her (Madhu) not holding RK's hands in the public, eating only after her husband finishes and many more such rules and restrictions. The regulations will make Madhu's life difficult.

Does this mean Mausi is a negative character?

The interesting part is that she is not at all negative. In fact, she is one of the most positive and spiritual characters who will just want the best of the family.
