I came online to discuss some interesting facts I discovered about yam today:

It itches when you clean it. But some yams itch when you eat it

The fresher a yam the less the itch, the older the yam more the itch.

There is something acidic in yam, esply close to its skin, that causes the itch.

You should wash your hands with cold water when it starts itching. Some people can also develop allergy to the itch which can result in red rashes. So consult a doc.

Yam should be boiled and drained well to remove the itch causing substance.

When men clean/ cut yam they dont develop itches. Only women do.

I am not copy pasting this from anywhere. I read a lot about yam today and this is a summary.

Work is hectic, but satisfying..Hectic cos the new semester starts from tomorrow..Taking a brand new course, "Introduction to Public Sector Finances'..Hence have to prepare lectures & all, plus tabulating the last year's results..So this is a busy time...

Choti also started teaching at her college. The entire grading, syllabus pattern and God knows what not has changed... so she had also attended a workshop recently...

I will mostly give NET in Dec... Uske liye padhna padega par. I want to get into teaching several yrs down the line. But I will forget everything by then. So it is a good time to give the papers while I still remember stuff

What's a NET?

National Entrance Test to teach grads and post grads anywhere in India.

Then write in your spare time but post when you have sufficient update bank.

Fari writing funny is hair wrenching at times but you feel good you make people laugh. But with AAA with every update people tell me I make them cry 😕

Why dont u PM me ur ideas and I will tell you, with my lts knowledge if it has been written before. What say?
