No Saiyu :( We don't have a four wheeler ... I haven't driven a car after I got my license ... it is serving its purpose as an identitiy proof!

I have already learnt carnatic music for nearly 8 years and then lost touch completely...

Carnatic music is what is famous here ...

But I really love Hindustani... wanted to learn .. but Hindustani teachers are rare here

Any music needs constant practicing and keeping in touch ... you have no idea how much I regret taking it so lightly! I quit singing when I reached 10th :)

I never rally understood the importance of what I really had until I lost it !

Now I can't sing ... I mean I become breathless within 2 lines and its so sad :(

What is Hindustani music? Which state does that music belong to?

We dont have a 4 wheeler either. No one in my family can drive anything 😆

Hindustani belongs to North India ... You would've heard :)

Whatever the music type the base is formed by sa re ga ma pa da ni

Isn't it a wonder Saiyu? All the wonderful cmpositions and only 7 swaras? These are called the sapt swaras ..

Me and brother know 4 wheeler ... papa knows 2 wheeler ... mom kuch nahi

Yeah... I have always wondered only 7 surs.

But I dont know much abt music. I cant even be a bathroom singer.

I was watching Indian Idol Junior briefly today morning... They are paired with professional singers and yet they do so well!

La thoda Bollywood bhi sikhle!

Yes I was watching the same ... isliye all these regrets! Whenever I watch programs I get started! My family is used to it :P

I once tried to teach my mom two wheeler ... I made her drive and ran behind holding the vehicle but then she hurt her toe and said I'll never learn 2 wheeler again!

A friend of mine banged into something when she was learning how to drive. She gave up after that incident too
