Aur say that you're going into the stadium market for something. Then cross the road towards the stadium market & then get a rickshaw. There are some rickshaw's inside the stadium.

It wont be serious if the distance wasn't so much. But it's too much if he waits to take you this far everyday!

I can't cross road alone... I ducked and took another rickshaw yesterday...it's sad na I'm having to hide and run from in front of MY office just because of a rickshawpullar

I don't go alone always...only two/three times a week

Thing is, I wouldn't react like this. I have had many rickshaw pullers in my life whom I have actually get acquainted with. But while I was in school/college it was fine. Cos you see both my school/college was too close to home. & those rickshaw puller I knew were from my area & they usually didn't go out of the area & thus I knew their incentive for waiting for me.

But my uni was a bit far. Still closer than you home to office.But there was this rickshaw puller who became like this. Used to wait for me & I used to ride his rickshaw. But after a few weeks, he became manipulative. Used to ask for extra money than the fair saying his mother was ill, or his son needed school fee or his sister needed to get married. & then he used to tell me, I wait for you. Dont take other passengers even if I could earn more, please give me 100 tk or things like that. & when I asked him 1 day, then why do you wait for me if it's a loss for you,. he looked at me with so much anger!!! From that day on, I have stopped taking known ricksha's if no tin my area!
