Misha, The malayalam film industry used to produce some real classic movie & the industry had a good reputation as well. So many national awards were won, but I feel in the past 10 -15 years, its just the usual song, dance and running around tree stuff!! The standards have gone down so much!!! I am pleased that this year, a lot of Malayalam movies got recognition from the National Award Committe!! But it is nothing compared to what the industry used to be...

After a dreadful debut in a forgettable 'Aiyaa', Malayalam actor Prithviraj redeems his rightful place as a solid performer. If anything, it's his accent that needs some polishing.

He even manages to match up to the legend - Rishi Kapoor, at least in some scenes.

I still feel, regional movies are better than Hindi movies. Some of the movies done by the superstars are just worthless - I can't even classify it as an art form!
