good statement to make, when an actor has the luxuary of a PH which allows him to work in both medium, a strong script, where the story can go on without much pressure on the actor, co stars who can carry on the show by themselves, n films require only few days of shoot, as you r doing character roles...


but for any actor who is below 30, its not possible to play dad roles of heros in films, n if the show is entirely depended on him, then he cant do both,... he has to make a choice... be it any actor/vj/ even a student.


if a student is acting in films along with his college, he has to make a choice there... a "VJ" may have to leave a popular show he has been hosting, for an unknown future...

its easy to make statements, but difficult to live other's lives😊

At young age even Ram Kapoor tried ... He was in movies in small side kick roles ... Also Ronit Roy but they never made it to anything but then Ekta Mata ki kripa se and now that they have aged enough they can do senior roles. Of course they will not leave TV ... Its not like supporting roles he is going to get always in movies ... Iss saal accha tha ... next sall won't be the same but a TV show continues for ages.

As for young ones they have to take the risk ... otherwise how will they know ... and of course nobody is mad to severe ties with TV unless they are sure of it. And Barun is no exception.

Yes and everyone is hell bent on proving tht everyone can't be srk. Who thinks tht? Not everyone wants to be srk. In recent times tv stars have had success like ayushman and sushant and the former in a very small film. But no one remembers tht. They r hell bent on assuming tht everyone wants to be an srk.

agree nisha and sama both sushant and ram are lucky to get cooperative ph .
but rajeev was not lucky to have same luck. i find rajeev and barun career and also things to be same. they both still crave for more creative satisfaction.
rajeev surely brought a new trend in tv industry to make people realise that there is nothing wrong in trying new things.
and i still dont understand why people are so negative on tv actor trying for bollywood😕 they are soft for newcomers but not tv actor. nowadays even big bollywood stars comes to t.v for backup earning so whats wrong in that. look at hollywood there is mere difference.
bollywood and t.v industry surely need change from long time. glad its happening slowly.

Sushant's movie worked because he left TV...he had to take a decision strongly and he took it.Though I still feel he did not become popular with this movie among viewers but in the industry he got good recognition.

Even Irfan Khan was from TV.

Ronit and Ram both are lucky to have Ekta's support and thats why they are able to do movies,get movies and do TV shows also.

SOTY did not just had Ram or Ronit it but many of Ekta's TV shows actors.

And i don't know why everyone is comparing with SRK..practically SRK in today's BW situation won't be hit.Gone are days when an actor could become SRK or becoming SRK would make one hit.

@sona...I remember Kavi saying same that in UK there is no difference between TV actor and movie actors..its obvious their TV shows do not have same crap story and actors have that satisfaction in working in TV shows.

also people forget there is no success future in tv also every time. look at rati gurmeet,arjun, mohit, ksg too to an extend cause qh is not creating as much wave as it was beeing expected. so whats harm in trying for new things. the main t.v audience i.e trp audience dont watch serial for leads but story. there is no success formula in t.v too
