Actually think SP made the wrong decision to end IPK - I mean I get ASR was a huge part of the show - but to end it and disregard the hard work of everyone else associated to the show is just wrong...

After a highly successful journey, Star Plus' Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? is coming to an end this Friday.

All good things come to an end and that also includes Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?. Our source informed us that the producers had decided to pull the plug on the show. We called the writer of the show Ved Raj who confirmed the news. He said despondently, "It was a great and challenging experience writing the show. I'm feeling empty and sad. The show is just ending abruptly."

It is tough for viewers to accept a replacement for Barun Sobti. Maybe that is why the producers and channel decided to take the show off air. This show had a successful run for almost a year and a half and is highly popular on india-forums.com too. Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?currently rates number one on the forum. Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani rank one and two respectively on our website in popularity among TV actors. We tried calling both Barun andSanaya Irani but their mobiles were switched off.

No the fact was the show wasn't going to end SP weren't going to end it - but the phonecalls and all the drama that happened with the show - I think SP just had enough - I also think the Gul has lost out on the channel now - I mean Arjun will stay but 4 Lions getting another daily on SP seems highly unlikely!

Though I am glad it is ending - but you know what the fans that were demanding it to end now are going to be the ones that go around crying about it!

I cant believe those delusional fangirls got the show to close!

Im actually quite angry! Gul and SP should have showed more guts and showed the fangirls they couldnt care less for their demands.

Poor Sanaya and the rest of the cast and all the workers on that show who now find out they only have 2 more weeks in a job just because of an actor who quit and wanted to pursue bollywood and who couldnt care less what happened to the show!

Im actually appalled and will come back later to rant more!!

The fangirls all I can say is be carefully what you wish for

I know - I feel sorry for everyone that have been working on the show and the cast that stayed loyal! I know but I hope Barun doesn't come to shoot a happy ending - it ending on Arnav's death will be the perfect revenge from SP - cause as a channel even they have a breaking point!
