@Tanu- Hellooo Tanu! 🤗 I knew you'd be here! And since you're raving about IPKKND, can you explain the bandage waala scene? I didn't understand it at ALL!

Anyway the engagement was as cliched and as OTT as they get, but the sappy romantic in me loved it..☺️Basically what happened if Khushi had cut her finer by putting her hand on some glass shreds, and all this was thanks to Arnav Bitwa for pushing her and also not letting his servant clean up the glass shreds earlier..So after she left he sees the blood drop on the table..He immediately dresses up in his best suit and drives to the Mandir, all equipped with gauze and all, to bandage her wound..😆 On the other hand GFN boo-ah-jee had consulted with pandit jee regarding a good mahurat for engagement..Pandit jee said 6 PM but Khushi wasn't present so engagement nahin ho saka Shyam aur Khushi ka..And by some miracle Khushi cut her ring finger only and Arnav tied the bandage around her ring finger at 6 PM in the mandir..Tada, they are sort of engaged now!😆

@Tanu- OMG, that is sooo cute! 😃 I didn't even realise it that way! I guess I don't really understand all these customs! 😕 But however cliched and OTT the engagement was, it was cute! But wait, Shyam wants to do anything to get engaged to Khushi ASAP. So how will Khushi realise that she's been engaged to ASR? Will that pandit step in and say she got engaged during those mantras? 😕 Track is cute, but DAYUM confusing at the same time, cause precap seemed weird!

@Ritch: Aww you are a bit clueless about the desi rit-riwaz aren't you?😆 Hahaha Khushi doesn't know she sort of got engaged to Arnav, since she had no idea the shubh mahurat for the engagement was at 6 PM..We the viewers know both side of the story and are supposed to gush away..The makers tried to portray it in such a way that God wanted these two to be tied in a bond..The series of coincidences ranging from Khushi cutting her ring finger, Arnav coming there and tying the bandage exactly at 6 PM, and that too in a mandir when the evening aarti was going on-all in all a very pious setting you know..😊
And Khushi might be a little surprised and think about how she sort of got engaged to Arnav if boo-ah-jee bothers to tell her about the mahurat..But she will brush it off since Arnav had hurled insults at her as soon as he was done bandaging her boo boo..
And the cool thing is shyam the scumbag won't be able to make her wear his ring on her ring finger since that toh is taken by Arnav's bandage..He will just have to do with the ring finger of the right hand I guess..😆

@Tanu- Yeap, I'm really clueless about these desi reet-riwaaz! I guess its cause I'm not hindu, and I've hardly spent any time in India, so I'm blank about all this! 😳 But their engagement is sooo cute! I just wish Khushi and ASR found out about it as well! But its not as if it would do any good! But I'm sure Khushi wouldn't wanna get engaged to Shyam if she finds out she's already engaged naa? Doesn't that go against her Devi-Maiiya? Just a question, is it really possible for them to get engaged, just while listening to the aarti, and ASR tying a bandage around the boo-boo on her ring finger? 😕 Or was this an OTT romantic scene to show that even God is trying to tie them in an atoot bandhan? And if Shyam Babua can't put on the ring around her injured finger, it IS possible that the engagement is stalled naa?

It is possible I guess..The bandage represented the ring and apparently the time was super auspicious according to the pandit jee..And the fact that they were in a mandir, in devi maiyaa's presence, sort of solidifies the whole thing..Yeah, this is the maker's way of trying to show the viewer's that Arnav and Khushi's destinies are intertwined, and they belong to each other..

Nahh, I don't think Khushi will make a big fuss because Shyam the scumbag had fed babu jee a pill that would deteriorate his health and made it seem like babu jee got sicker because the engagement couldn't take place due to Khushi's engagement..Now boo-ah-jee is hell bent on getting them engaged..Khushi will keep mum thinking about her dad's health and if boo-ah-jee had her way she would get these two engaged by making Shyam putting a ring on Khushi's toe for all she cares..🤢 😆 So I don't think the left hand's ring finger being unavailable will be deemed a problem, baki 9 fingers se kisi bhi ek me pehna dega..😆

@Tanu- Reminds me of the movie Parineeta, where Vidya and Saif get married by exchanging a chain during a very very shubh mahurat! Looks like that's where the writers got their inspiration from! But a very metaphorical and a cute way to show us that they're meant for each other, I must say! Have you noticed, all the Boo-Ahs are irritating? Here and in Navya as well? Yeah, anyways she does a lot for her family, and Boo-Ah-Jee toh is hell bent on seeing her babua engaged to Khushi! I really wanna know how does this marriage stop! I'm hoping that ASR comes at that point and sees Shyam. Cause even if now Khushi realises that she's in love with ASR, she's not gonna break the marriage for the sake of her family! *sigh* Why can't these leads ever stop thinking about their families?
