Ranchi: Bollywood actor, Rajeev Khandelwal on his debut visit to the city for the screening of his film Aamir was all praise for Ranchi weather, on Saturday.
"The weather of the city is so wonderful; I enjoyed the view of the State while landing and the greenery has won my heart. Even my misconception that people of the city are rude while talking has been shattered by the amazing hospitality I have received here," said an excited Khandelwal.
Speaking on the talent of the State ranging from movies to sports, acting and dancing, Khandelwal said: "Ranchi has completely changed from the concept of a small town to a town which is a mine of talent. The Indian cricket team captain, MS Dhoni is the pride of the country and he belongs to the State. Rajkumar is yet another example of extraordinary talent from a simple place." Khandelwal, who has worked in one of the most famous daily soaps of the Indian television, Kahin to Hoga and Left Right Left, made his debut in Bollywood with Aamir and recently released Shaitan, receiving applause from the critics as well.
Awaiting the release of his next film Soundtrack, a musical film with 12 songs and a completely different avatar from his boy-next-door image, Khandelwal wishes to see more talent from the State making their mark on the national platform.
"After MS Dhoni and Rajkumar, I am sure that more talent from the State will rise on the national platform bringing laurels to this place. No place is now small for nurturing talent but dedication and passion is what takes it all for a success," he concluded.
