@raisy and sana haww both of u frm BD? awesome!!! and raisy i borrowed the books frm the library. and well the books are very different i mean VERY. The whole story the characters everything. Damon is well mayb the same lolz. stefan too. Elena not the same yes there r similarities but still different. and then bonnie is like SOOO different. i like the book bonnie better. and well there's meredith who's not in the show at all. but she's an awesome character. caroline is evil in the book. she hates elena and her frnds and stefan. and matt is also kinda different ish lolz and the books are much more horrory than the show. if i read soem of the parts at like midnight when everybody is sleeping i get creeped out lolz.
