Danish is such a chauvinistic a**hole. Well actually he is an a**hole by default, he specializes at being an a** in everything. He is such a selfish, jealous, manipulative s****ndrel. He is so low, so cheap minded. Jawad ke joote se pitne ki bhi aukat nahin hai, aur chale aya Jawad ko judge karne. He actually had the nerve to instigate people against Jawad? The guy creates these sets of lies, tells it to people in such a convincing manner that anyone would think that he is telling the truth. What a cunning pig! I felt like peeling off his skin when he was telling Mahi that Zenia doesn't like Jawad's presence and is only being courteous with him. And don't even get me started on the scenes were he tries dictating Zenia about keeping contact with Jawad, and in all those scenes were he shows attitude when he finds Jawad with Zenia. What does he think of himself? Is Zenia a property of his? I so wanted to slap that jerk when he remarked that Zenia was acting like Jawad's mom. Creep kahika! Uggghhhhh....and the sick b***ard that he is, he also ruined Mahi's life. He made Mahi so miserable. That useless, good-for-nothing moron actually treated Mahi like some servant. What a hypocrite! He can keep contacts with his friends, chant Zenia's name all day long, but cannot even tolerate Mahi's friendship with her cousin!!!!!! It was apparent that he didn't like Jawad because of the Zenia thing, but still telling Mahi to cut of her relationship with Jawad......how pathetic a guy has to be to have the guts to say something that disgusting? Leave Jawad, that kam**na doesn't like Mahi's friendship with any guy. And he is so petty🤢....he used the Mahi-Saifi issue to get rid of Mahi....as if that wasn't enough, he actually proposed Zenia after Mahi went back to Pakistan. But the guy doesn't cease to disgust me. When Zenia turned him down, he wanted Mahi back in his life. He just wants someone to do his household tasks, that's why he kept running from here to there. I really wanted to throw Danish into the sewage....that's the right place for him.

Hands down, Jawad is my favorite character. He is so charming and so adorable😍😍😍😍😍. I love the fact that he is direct about everything. He doesn't sugarcoat his thoughts. He says exactly what he feels. I totally loved him for saying that he didn't feel like talking to Zenia so he didn't answered her calls. It's not everyday that a guy is so blunt about his replies. Even in the bit were Zenia is praising Danish for his achievements and asks Jawad to not waste time on doing useless stuffs....love the fact that Jawad asked her what according to her was useless and then gave her a polite retort. The thing is that, he is very honest, his approach is too direct...yet, he is never really rude. The tone in which he talks is always soft and decent. Now what do I say about those eyes? *sigh*😍....The look that he had in his eyes when he told Mahi that he thinks he is in love with Zenia, and then the one were he tells Zenia that he didn't say anything to Mahi that he cannot say to her and then goes onto confessing. I was mighty impressed with the way he handled the Zenia issue with his mom. He stood up for Zenia, but staying within his limits. I loved all the scenes he had with Zenia. Starting from their first scene were he was being annoyingly curious ( for me it was amusing, but if I were in Zenia's place, I would have been annoyed😆) to the very last scene with them walking off together *deep sigh*. The last scene was so awesome.....was busy 😍 when Jawad told Zenia that he was mad at her for lying and thus left. Well I cannot recollect all my thoughts on all the JZ scenes, but off the top of my head, I loved their scene were Zenia compliment Jawad saying that he is a nice person and Jawad is like 'I know'😆, the bit were Jawad finds the chocolate that he gave to Zenia and shares it with her.....and also the scene they had just before Jawad leaves for Pakistan.

Zenia's character was so real. She behaved exactly like any normal girl would behave in the situations she faced. True, that at times some things about Zenia annoyed me, but it was because fiction has made me used to watching actions and reactions that we can only think in our mind in real, but would never act upon it. Zenia was too real a character. Her behavior, her approach.....everything was just so convincing. Sure, I wanted her to tell Danish off the moment he came back after marrying Mahi, but well what Zenia did was more believable. I, myself, have faced situations were I really would like to get out of a friendship but I could not. So whatever Zenia did, initially may have exasperated me, but made sense to me eventually. However, I wish she hadn't been so blind about Danish's real nature. In my opinion, despite Zenia's sober nature, I found her to be a very interesting character. Usually a sober character would bore me, but Zenia's earthy nature and her inner conflicts made her very intriguing. I really liked the scene were she blasts at Jawad after Mahi-Danish's reception, and after saying what not, when Jawad just says that he came to give her her cell back....the embarassment was so amusing to watch😆. Loved watching Zenia break down slightly after telling Jawad leaves her when she tells him she got engaged to her friend.....and loved watching her moment of epiphany just before the last JZ scene.

Mahi is someone for whom I have mized emotions. There are some things about her that I really don't like, and some things about her which makes me sympathetic towards her. I really didn't like Mahi in the beginning episodes. Being immature is one thing, and yeah....I don't blame her for not believing that Saifi really loves her....but whatever it is, nothing really justifies the way she treated Saifi. Immature or not....she should at least have the sense to understand that what she was doing wasn't right. Then she annoyed me further by being all jumpy at the thought of marrying Danish. Seriously?! She actually gave me the urge to slap her. I was secretly happy that she was getting a husband like Danish. I thought that she deserved someone like Danish for being the stupid person she is. But well, gradually, Danish turned out to be worse that I predicted he would be......so then I found myself sympathizing Mahi. No matter how idiotic Mahi had been in past....NO ONE deserves someone like Danish in their life. Then Mahi irritated me somewhat by her negativity about Zenia and then following her husband's orders and talking to Jawad. But well, she was just behaving like any other married woman *rolls eyes*. And then again, I felt sorry for her because of Danish insolent behavior towards her. I loved how she didn't go back to him. Really admire her for her that decision👏.

My second favorite character has to be Lily😆. I liked her from the very first moment, but she climbed up the ladder to the second place by that one dialogue. "ek kheench ke joota marna tha muh pe" (or sth along that line)🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. The girl and her no-nonsense attitude is superb! I love her for her pointed dislike towards Danish. The fact that she never liked Danish, makes me so pleased with her. She is AMAZING. Her scenes with Zenia, with her husband, that one scene with Jawad (which was quite cute, btw)......I loved her in every bit.

Mahi and Jawad's friendship was really really cute to watch. Loved their interactions....till Danish ruined stuffs between everyone😡. Still, Mahi-Jawad, as friends/cousins shared a really endearing dynamic. Mahi's friendship with Savera was good to watch as well. Junaid-Lily scenes were nice too. Junaid is the such a sweetheart. He is so patient with Lily😆.

Finally, the chudail mom of Danish's.....wanted to burn that woman. No wonder Danish turned out to be like this. Apart from that chudail mom, I also hated Mahi's mom and Jawad's mom. They mainly irritated me with their conventional thoughts. Jawad's dad was such a passive character....so was Mahi's. Mahi's one was at least nicer, Jawad's dad was absolutely blah🥱.

Overall, I had a GREAT time watching Malaal. It was such a sophisticated show. Such well-etched characters. And the interactions between all characters, the story was so intricately woven. Am totally awed by the show. Beyond awesome😍
