@Sam: kya bataoo?? shaadi say eik week pehlay her roz ghar mein dholki hoti hey (these are new customs)...dholki mein sirf ghar walay aur kuch close family freinds/relatives aatay hein..saath mein shughal lagaatey hein :) singing and dancing etc....it depends...guys and girls can be together if the family is modern...warna larkia separate aur larkey separate :)

phir mehndi hoti hey shaadi say eik do din pehlay...which is more formal compared to dholki...again singing dancing...competition between larkay walay and larkiya...mehndi lagaana etc

phir ruksati hoti hey...the girl's side invites everybody...they are married aur larki ki ruksati hoh jaati hey :)

next day waleema...boy's side invites everybody for dinner :)

@ an haye my professor. dont ask yaar.
all of his students (including the boys) r fida for him.
today when he was calling out our names for attendence, he asked me y i write my name mahnaz instead of mehnaz. n i said bcoz in fercy it is pronounced like that. n he said it sounds prettier this way. n me n my friends almost fainted hearing that.
he is such a good teacher i tell u. he can mesmerize his audience with his voice n knowledge. in 1:30 hour lecture no one looses concentration. he makes us wanna learn more. we r really lucky 2 hav a teacher like him. now we have to c woh grade kya dete hai.
then ill give the final verdict
