Thats the same reason my mother is giving me Mimi! She's like "Spanish is the second language. You need to know it for your job and future and blah blah" I guess its true though.

I've taken one semester of Spanish and Italian & two years of French. You can carry on with French if you like Mimi since it is always good to know/ recognize another language even if you don't achieve fluency in it
