This is one hell of a long assed post because I'm in a gushy gushy mood tonight. CMG sucks, MJHT sucks and K-soaps suck, so I have found temporary solace in the Ghodi show's couples. Sue me. :P
Today's episode ...
SaVni are hugging when Mommy dearest arrives with PriDa and tells them about the marriage. Avni is delighted, and so is Sameer - for different reasons of course. Shallow note: SaVni smile while they're in the same frame and that makes them look quite adorable. Aww! Sameer sorta hugs Damini too. Nice devar-bhabi moment. I love this guy's smile!
The two brothers and sisters exchange hugs. Sameer gives Prithvi a pat on the shoulder for getting one step closer to banging the enemy's daughter. Roshni joins them and goes totally "OMG OMG OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT" about the upcoming wedding. Now that the entire gang of Mom's daughters and their love interests have assembled in the same room, could Varun be far behind? Nope, he promptly enters next as if right on cue. He hears the news, pretends to be happy and hugs Prithvi. The three brothers exchange meaningful looks right in front of everyone, which apparently Mom and her girls do NOT find fishy at all. How convenient. Everyone decides to leave PriDa alone.
EEEEEEEE, awkward convo alert! Prithvi starts to talk and calls her aap - but quickly changes it to tum. Damini finds it amusing. He says that he isn't marrying her just because of her mother and sincerely hopes that she isn't marrying him for that reason either. Aww, the look on his face as he says it. She stutters and says no, she isn't. He asks her to continue. She mentions that has
another reason. Prithvi grins knowingly and asks her to elaborate. When she doesn't go on any further, both of them share a laugh. A very sweet and awkward laugh, may I add. *sigh* Oh how I love that she didn't say those dreadful three words yet. Loved this scene! 😍
It's a new day and Avni is wearing a gorgeous outfit as always. Hmph, I want her wardrobe. Sameer hugs her from behind (EEEEEE, my favourite kinda hug!) and asks why she looks so pleased. She reminds him that it's the one month anniversary of their wedding and can't wait until her family comes to know about it. Suddenly, she feels dizzy and grabs her head. Oooh, interesting. Looks like someone might have a little bun in her oven. Sameer begins to fret and wants to call the doctor. She assures him that she's fine. He tells her not to do all the housework by herself. *sigh* His concern for her is genuine! The way he panics for her, the way he says she shouldn't stress herself out with the housework. Aww, someone is falling in love! 😍
Mom, PriDa and VarNi join them. Mom says that she asked the priest to match their horoscopes, and he said that they matched perfectly well - hence indicating that even the Almighty had planned for them to be a couple. Everyone promptly adds their cheesy one-liners about matches that are made in heaven. Blah blah. Quit the horoscope stuff and give me more SaVni/PriDa scenes, damnit! Anyway, all the sisters share a hug and Roshni puts on some music. PriDa and SaVni start dancing two nano seconds after the music comes on. LMAO!
EEEEEEE, the way Prithvi pulls Damini towards him at one point - I could rewatch that ten times and not tire of it. Aww, Avni looks so happy to be dancing with Sameer. He's smiling and giving her some
adorable looks. What a nice little hubby-wifey pair! Meanwhile, PriDa are totally into their dance and don't take their eyes off each other. Another reason to EEEEEEEE. Then Mom notices that VarNi are the only ones that aren't dancing. Looks like she figures that she might as well pick a groom for her youngest bimbo, since the other two seem pretty set. And who else but someone as personality-less and boring as Varun would put up with that little twit? So, Mom brings them together and encourages them to dance. Now all six of them are dancing. They have a few inner thoughts ...
Sameer: Avni kitni khush lag rahi hai. Agar isse meri wajey se koi takleef ho, toh kaise bardaasht kar paoonga main? OMG, I love how he said that he wouldn't be able to take it if she got hurt because of him. I love how possessive he has become. Doesn't want to see HIS precious Avni suffering, does he? Aww, SaVni are mutually in love. Finally!
Prithvi: Jaldi ho raha hai. Yeh sab mere plan ka nateeja hai ya shayad *short pause* mere pyaar ka. EEEEEEEE I knew it! I knew his recent interactions with Damini weren't just agenda driven. I could tell by the way he reacted to the marriage question and then by all of his tension-filled conversations with Damini. It was genuine and very much heartfelt. *continues to EEEEEEE*
Varun: I hope tum hamesha khush raho Roshni. Main nahi jaanta kyun, magar tumhari khushi mein hi meri khushi hai. Tumhari muskaan achi lagti hai mujhe. Sweet lines! Too bad I don't ship this couple.
Damini notices how aloof VarNi seem while dancing together and decides to do something to set them up. I can't believe she's looking at VarNi when
Prithvi is standing just inches away from her, with his hand around her waist! Anyway, so suddenly Avni sees the entire room spinning around her. LMAO, the camera angle showing her "point of view" was hilarious! She falls to the ground. Sameer yells out her name and then everyone clamors around her. A few minutes later, she gains consciousness. Sameer wants to know if she's okay (aww) and so does the rest of the clan. She says she's fine; just felt a little dizzy. Sameer points out that she wouldn't be feeling dizzy constantly if she was fine. Mom says that she's taking her to the doctor the first thing in the morning. Ho hum. Guess who has just landed herself in a soup by getting knocked up? Sameer gulps as the realization dawns upon him. The end.
