Saathiya was OK-ish. :S I mean I liked how the present and past were interwined and the story moves at a smooth pace. But the effect somehow didn't come across well :S

Nimmi: You are a cancer? Zainab is a cancer as well, if I remember correctly. One of my closest friend in real life is a cancer, and my uncle is a cancer as well. Cancer's have a wonderful sense of humour! They are practical and are very understanding! :-)

I am not a fan of Saathiya either. It was an okay movie for me.

Actually the reason why Saathiya might have been so hyped up would be the unconventional (which was just something new/different) way of presenting the film and how the simple story (which have been repeated many times before) was incorporated, on the overall. I wouldnt mind saying that I really liked Saathiya when I first saw it...maybe cuz I didnt see it with a critical view. But now that I look at it, it was just yet another mush love story!
