Yup she was happy but doing something special for her and that too something that has ALWAYS been her fantasy is kinda cute. For example, if my boyfriend who has two left feet, brought me tickets to learn latin dance together, I would be jumping with joy even though I know that him being a bad dancer does not really affect me.

*Edit: I'm concerned by BOTH the idea AS WELL as the way they're gonna show it.....cuz their track record is REALLY pathetic.....the ideology doesn't go with M to begin with and on top of that, they are gonna show him like some giddy besotted fool planning some 'mega romantic date'.....This is not the Mayank I've liked.

Again, The safed ghoda IS a bit OTT! But then again who else except in these shows/movies dream about her guy riding a white horse. He is matching to what she wanted same as in real life, we girls would NEVER dream of our guys riding a white horse.

I meant, as in real life how our guys would do something for us to make us happy going against their normal personality is always touching. It would definitely be OTT if they come riding a white horse. because girls nowadays DO NOT dream/fantasies that! Only in these shows/movies we see girls STILL dreaming their dream man in some sort of mist and then riding a horse coming out of blur, and picking them up and taking y them along in his strong arms.

Mitsy, that WOULD be sweet! But there is a WORLD of a difference b/w a guy with two left feet getting dancing lessons with his gf and a guy freakin LANDING up on a WHITE HORSE JUST cuz his gf said that that's how she'd always dreamt of her dream guy😕😕😕.....It's like apples and oranges, dude! *shakes head*😆

I'm massively pissed off by this ghoda crap.....I don't think I'm going to be able to live it down.

I'm not the kind of girl to whom this stuff appeals to begin with and given the kind of character M was....all the reasons I liked him.....this is all going down the drain with it.

MN are somewhat inspired from Aditya-Geet.....except N's fantasies are so crazily outlandish that even G would laugh at them...heck a 5 year old would laugh at them! LOL.....I can't ever digest M taking these fantasies SERIOUSLY and showing up on a GHODA just cuz she wants her dream man to be on one :S

Mitsy, I don't think it can be excused with 'oh it's just a TV show, so her fantasies are so outlandish and M HAS to work with whatever her fantasies are' :S LOLL....I personally still can't digest it.....We deal with a lot of creative liberties in movies/TV shows.....but THIS is going too far in my opinion. The ONLY way I'd ever thought to see M on a ghoda in this show was maybe thru one of Nupur's OTT dreams.....but to show him doing this in ACTUALITY??? Naaa...can't digest.

I think we are on different pages as in, I am taking it as JUST A SHOW and the dream/fantasies (white horse etc) limited to that only and you are comparing it to the real life literally.

I am not good with words to explain what I am REALLY trying to say..but just that I dont think the IDEA of him getting a white horse and giving her flowers, taking her to the beach is wrong given that Nupur (a character) dreamt of her man to do something like that for her.

Edit: On a bright side At least we agree on one thing: Mayank ON a white horse is 😕😕

Nupur's bizzare story book like fantasy and Mayank trying to fulfill it is what greatly upset me. Had it been something more realistic like your latin dance example, I would have digested it. I wouldn't even mind Mayank bungee jumping with Nupur, becoz Nupur likes it. But I certainly mind Mayank trying to accomplish an outrageous fantacy. The problem is that I had thought he would laugh over it; not run to actualize it!

Edit: Agree Anu I would have preferred it had it been Nupur's dream - where she now sees Mayank replace an unnamed masked rider ... showing it in reality is what has upset me greatly.

LOL I guess so Mitsy....I liked M for the realism to him...hence maybe I compared all that he did to real life stuff....to me personally....fiction or reality....this being shown would ALWAYS be ridiculously hilarious...LOL...but given that I identified with M's character and found him to be realistic...to show him doing all this buffoonery irritates me.

I'm with you on this Anu. Nupur's fantasy is completely unrealistic, and ridiculous. I'm starting to think she has not grown beyond the age of 5-6. I don't want to sound rude or mean, but this is just silly showing Mayank on a horse for a first date! Waaah! What standards has MJHT come to? 😃

Mayank in the show from the very start has been show to be a realistic, practical, and sensible guy. I get the point that he is in love, but I fail to understand why he hasn't put his foot down over such a ridiculous idea of a date? How did this stupid idea come in his mind in the first place?

He is in love with her, and he does not necessarily have to be her door mat pleasing her every little childish fantasy. My point being you can be in love with someone, but if they demand or dream of unrealistic things, then you fully have a right to put your foot down and refuse to it. In this case Nupur is not even demanding things from him.

I don't like the message being passed out from this whole love track, which is essentially if you are in love then you do everything to please the front person The numerous 12 year's old that watch this show will start dreaming of a Mappu boy coming on a white horse, and poor future guys that try to woo them they will have to go the Mappu boy way. They will be forced to bring up horses in order to impress the girl. Highly unrealistic, and completely ridiculous!

Ditto, LadyM....you spoke my mind. Nupur's fantasies are wayyyyyy OTT to begin with.....and this is not a movie song like Baazigar that they can randomly show M arriving on a horse :S.....I'd also thought M to be above all this and probabably laugh at the outrageousness...but no, he's going along with it...cuz apparently that's what you do when you're in 'lowe'😕😕😆
