Divya and Dr. Shashank go to a lawyer's office and Shashank asks to see one of the lawyers. The receptionist says, "Sorry sir he went to Calcutta this morning." Shashank says, "What? How can that happen, I talked to him yesterday and even got an appointment for today. When will he be back?" The receptionist says, "He will take about one month to come back." Shashank says to Divya, "Don't worry we will find another lawyer."
Shashank and Divya go to another lawyer and the lawyer says, "Look I've read your file and I have to say, there is no way to win in this case all the proofs and witnesses are against Mr. Amar Singh. Only a miracle can save Mr. Singh from getting hanged. I read your file because you sent it to me. You should probably find another lawyer."
Shashank and Divya go to their car and Shashank says, "I will talk to Mr. Kapoor he is a big lawyer and I know him." Shashank calls Mr. Kapoor, Mr. Kapoor is sitting in his office alone and he picks up the phone and Shashank says, "Hi Mr. Kapoor this is Dr. Shashank, How are you?... I want to meet with you." Mr. Kapoor says, "What is the case?" Shashank says, "Mr. Amar Singh, it's his case. When can I meet you." Mr. Kapoor gets tensed and says, "It's just that I.... am in a meeting.... I will call you later." Shashank is about to say something but Mr. Kapoor immediatly hangs up.
Dr. Shashank and Divya are in the car and Divya says, "I don't understand... Why is no one ready to take Amar's case?" Shashank says, "I think this is happening because of Bharat."
Bharat is sitting at home and he looking through papers and Bhargav is standing with him. Bharat says, "Why are my clients decreasing Bhargav Ji? I don't have half the clients that I had last month and I'm not getting any new clients." Bhargav says, "Sir everyone is advancing and everything is getting faster. You want everything to happen faster." Bharat says, "What are you trying to say Bhargav Ji that you have to wait for things in this company?" Bhargav says, "I think I might not be entitled to say this, but don't take this badly. This isn't your fault, but on one hand your mother died and on the other hand is Amar's trial and you are so entangled in these things so much that you aren't able to take time out for the company. Sir I tried to explain to the clients and they don't understand. The clients were saying some things to me like, Bharat Singh isn't able to handle this company alone." Bharat says, "I can't make my personal problems interfere with the company." Bhargav says, "So what will we do sir?" Bharat calls Mr. Gupta and says, "Hi Mr. Gupta this is Bharat Singh speaking. Please give power of attorney to Bhargav Ji. When I am not in the company Bhargav Ji has right to make decisions. Alright." Bhargav gets a smile on his face.
Amar enters court and Bharat enters court from the other side. Bhargav says, "Come on Sir the hearing is about to begin." Bharat says, "I am also waiting for this hearing to begin, because I want the person that killed my mom to be hanged."
Everyone stands up when the judge comes in and the judge says, "Good morning everyone... Please be seated... State vs. Amar Singh. Let the case begin." Someone tells the judge that Amar doesn't have a lawyer. The judge says, "If it's like that then the court can give him a lawyer." Divya comes in and says, "Stop Judge saab Amar Singh has a lawyer." A lawyer is behind Divya.
The state's lawyer says, "Your honor, Amar Singh got arrested and the body was also found there." Amar's lawyer says, "Your honor. This is a court room if I put a body in the corner and the police comes and arrests him does that means that he is the murderer?" The state's lawyer says, "That's not right your honor." Amar's lawyer says, "That is the whole thing in this case. Mr. Amar Singh was seen at a isolated location and right there was a dead body and they both got connected. Do you know Mr. Amar Singh. He is the chairman of Singh industries he has donated all around the world and he has made a name for himself. He can't raise his hand towards anyone, why would he take someone's life?" The state's lawyer says, "Your honor we have seen cases like this before. When you can't expect the person who commited the crime to do anything wrong. And that person is still proven guilty. We don't just have proof we have many witnesses, and of the witnesses are Mr. SK Lamba, I would want permission for him to come to the stand." The judge says, "Permission granted." The state's lawyer says to Mr. Lamba, "The day that the Singh House's auction was taking place you were present right?" Mr. Lamba says, "Yes I was there." The state's lawyer says, "Can you tell us if ther was something else going on there besides auctioning." Mr. Lamba says, "Yes. I remember it." There is a flashback to when Amar says that he won't forgive Sindoora. Amar's lawyer says, "Did he threaten to kill Sindoora Singh?" The state's lawyer says, "There is no reason to say that straight forward, but he did threaten her." Amar's lawyer says, "When someone's house is being taken away from him, he might get angry and let out his anger, but that doesn't mean he will take someone's life." The state's lawyer says, "I have ten more witnesses that I would like to bring up." Amar's lawyer says, "Yes, call them up I have 10 questions for every witness." The witnesses start to come up one by one and Amar's lawyer starts to question them and the judge writes some notes. Then the judge stands up and says, "Court is adjourned for today."
Court is in session again and Amar's lawyer says, "Let's just for one minute consider that Amar Singh did push Sindoora Singh, and she fell. But by pushing someone their face doesn't get completely messed up and the body that the police found had a messed up face." The state's lawyer says, "Your honor. Who is saying that Sindoora's death was caused by a push... This story is just something that Amar Singh made up. There was no pushing taking place, Amar murdered her, and that is the truth."
Aniket takes an oath to only speak the truth. Aniket says, "Every person that knows Amar will never believe that he can murder anyone." The state's lawyer says, "I object your honor. This witness shouldn't count because he is related to the person charged with the crime." Amar's lawyer says, "Wouldn't the state's lawyer also want to tell that how this man is related to Amar. He is Amar's JiJa and the husband of the woman who got murdered. His wife was murdered and he is still on the side of the man that is accused murdering his wife and that's only because Amar is innocent."
Bhargav comes and says, "Amar Singh came up to Bharat and he threatened him right infront of me." There is a flashback of when Amar came and threatend Bharat, about hurting him and Sindoora if anything happend to Diya. Bharat comes up and takes an oath to only tell the truth. Bharat says, "Amar Singh is the reason why my mom left home and then I got a call from her that she was coming back and I was really happy. Then suddenly the next day Amar Singh came into my house and threatend to kill my mom, and then when I checked my phone there were 10 missed calls from my mom. I called back and she didn't pick up the phone. I was unlucky that my phone was on silent. If I would have picked up the phone then my mom would be alive." The judge syas, "After looking at all the evidence there wasn't any proof that Amar Singh is innocent. The other lawyer has given many proofs that Amar was Sindoora's enemy. The court comes to the decision that Amar Singh is Sindoora's muderer, that is why this court gives Amar the punishment of death. Amar Singh to be Hanged."
