Mayank Anand looking for a publisher!

The dashing Dr Rahul from Dil Mil Gaye is looking for a publisher for his debut book Love from the Sidelines. Elaborating on the theme of his book, Mayank says, "It's the story of the other woman, written from her point of view. The guy is married, so she gets very little time to spend with him. Most of their conversations remain unfinished. The book focuses on how this woman finishes these conversations on her own, and the thoughts she has about him. It's in the form of a diary. You only see the man through her writings."

Mayank confesses that he has unleashed his creative side in this book. "The book is neither a novel nor an anthology of poems. It's prose and poetry put together. I didn't want to write a novel the first time," adds Mayank.

It is to complete this book that Mayank took a sabbatical from Dil Mil Gaye earlier this year. "I had been toying with the book for a long time but I actually finished writing it in two months. My role in Dil Mil Gaye was meant to be a four-month assignment. But since the viewers loved the character, Dr Rahul stuck on," he says.

Mayank has done his masters in English writing and creative Performance, but he does television only to earn a living. "I don't find TV to be artistically satisfying. But I have to survive, so I do it," he quips.

lol i didn't want to keep that the username. I thought of trying some new usernames and first thing that came up was coolguy1k but for some reason i opted and tried luscious first and it was really unfortunate that i didn't read the message below which said you can cahnage your username again within a year. 😡

i had to create a new account,, nahi toh tum log mera jeena haram kar dete 😡
