Sharon once again felt hopes of him being back with her going up..She didn't say anything and a smile spread on her lips.
"Thanks." She said as she gaped into his eyes.
"For?"
"For still caring about me..."
"Sharon.." He said turning around. "It's a known thing that I love you and will always do so...but the fact is..leave it." He stopped midway and began making his way out of the abandoned corridor.
"Leave what...?" She asked him, determined to get an answer.
"Sharon...I know you have been having attacks off late...so you need to come to the doctor. Right now, I'm the only one here, so you ought to come with me." He said without glancing at her.
"Don't change the topic Swayam." She said and walked towards him.
"What did you mean? Please complete your statement." She added.
"I'm going.." He said as he prepared to leave.
"Stop right there Mr.Shekhawat." She said in a harsh tone...yet he could see the depth in it. "You are going to answer my question right now. Just answer me for once, and I'll not disturb you anymore."
Swayam turned to face her, little anger evident on his face.
"What do you want to know Sharon?" He asked her.
"The truth. I'm doing so much, and you are not even noticing my actions...my actions..my behavior...everything has changed...not because of me but because of your love... everyone else could see it...and I'm sure the gang will come to know about the fact that I'm head over heels for you, but what's your problem?? Why can't we just sort stuff out and get back to normal??"
Swayam was standing noticing her tone..speechless in a way...her way of delivery..everything seemed really genuine..but he still was not convinced. He knew her affection was temporary.
"You don't love me Sharon. The feeling that you term "love" is the feeling of temporary affection which will fade away in some time. You don't love me and it's high time you realize that." He said as her heart broke into a million pieces."
So this was his problem? He thought that she didn't love him? Seriously? Was she so bad at expressing? Sharon felt her heart breaking into thousands of tiny pieces as she stood there numb trying to digest Swayam's reply. Tears of helplessness made their way out of her eyes.
"I'm sorry Swayam.." She said and left the place.
