I once wrote about Yaadein - that saying this was just another dance would be like saying Niagara Falls is a really big waterfall; it misses the enormity of the fact by several million gallons. But if that was Niagara falls then what we witnessed tonight was the Pacific Ocean itself. I have always held Yaadein as a performance which defines D3 at best. A dance based fiction show where every emotion whether its of pain, happiness or anything else is expressed through dance. And Yaadein ticked all those boxes. And it was the best performance of SwaRon for me till tonight. Tonight all the equation changed and record books were rewritten. Tonight we finally got the performance which was simply too good to be true, something unimaginable. And it couldn't have been more poetic than this that it was on the SwaRon anthem - Pehla Nasha, Pehla Khumar.
Pehla Nasha was one of the most anticipated performances. Problem with highly anticipated things are that it can go either way. But tonight not just lived upto the expectations but surpassed it by miles. Kudos to Shantanu Maheswari for not letting the choreography loosen up for even a second. This was one of the most expertly choreographed performance. And Vrushika and Shantanu nailed it like a boss. Their transition from one step to another, their expressions, their eyes speaking volumes about the inner state of Swayam and Sharon, their chemistry - everything about this was just magnificent or I would say it was mystical.The way they expressed the emotions of love and the longing to be with each other was just hypnotic. And by the time the performance ended I was literally blanked out and was at loss of words.
Won't say more about Pehla Nasha as you all know my funda that there are some memories which are just to precious to share with anyone. Only would like to say if you had not seen it just stop everything you are doing and go watch it asap. And if you had seen then ya to rest in peace or watch it again and again. And yeah one more thing thank you Palki mam and Danish sir. Without you guys this wouldn't have been possible. And all the other person involved because camerawork, light works, sound, costumes etc all were topnotch. Special thanks for selecting the white dress - a beautiful reminder of purity of SwaRon romance.
Any way there were few other moments too which were also awesome. Payal romance was good fun and I can't wait to see when Sharon will confront the payal chor. And yeah liked the SwaRon conversation preceding and succeeding the dance. The wheels have finally came in motion - hopefully their love story would come on track soon. And yeah don't forget the small 'hoom' y Swayam in reply to Sharon's question.
P.S - Vrushika was looking just stunning in each frame. Or to say it better she was looking just - khoobsurat.
P.PS - How many of you were humming the pehla nasha while it was shown on Tv and are still humming it? Because I am doing so.
