I know there must be LOADS of topics right now about, the dance, but here's a scene analysis! Honestly, for me, the dance was no less than a dream come true. It was just dreamy, fabulously done, wonderfully choreographed, and JUST way too beautiful <3
This song is SO pure, so beautiful and although I don't understand the lyrics in their literal meaning, the depth is intentionally conveyed. It goes straight to your heart.
This song, on SwaRon, on VruShan to be more specific was beautifully done! And I don't want to talk about SwaRon, because last night was all about Swayam, Sharon and the TRUST they have on each other... the fact that they trust each other SO much, more than words can even convey, the fact that she trusts him like no other person, everything was brought about so BEAUTIFULLY!! I was staring right at the television and trust me, I couldn't take my eyes off the set even for ONCE! That was the beauty of the dance, the way Vrushika presented it SO beautifully! And in a way, finally Vrushika ka solo bhi mil gaya!
I have learnt dance for two years, still I don't know much about it. All I know is, that whatever Palki ma'am had in mind, whatever she wanted to convey through the dance was presented in such an exceptionally A-M-A-Z-I-N-G way!
Palki ma'am, BOW DOWN to you! Vrushika did an amazing job! Her contemporary is really brilliant, and I loved it, how her expressions kept changing with the lyrics of the song!! Well, I would also like to mention that two angels in white for a matter of two-three minutes, danced their heart out, danced like there was no tomorrow, danced like they wanted to convey what love they had for each other, danced like they could relate to the beats of the song, danced in such proper synchronization...and the TRUST they had on each other.. So perfect... so lovely...so heavenly... Two angels in love, poured their heart out...tried to pour their love for each other...through dance..
So basically, she's practicing in the rehearsal hall...dance...after so long ...something doesn't really go right and she realizes she's doing it all wrong. She recollects about HIM. He started dancing for her. According to her, he was impressed by her due to her dance...and if dance is her forte...if dance is what binds them closer, why is she not able to dance properly? Why is she not able to do her basic steps right?
Sharon Rai Prakash, the diva, starts dancing and decides, she needs to do something different. She's in her different zone and she decides to try something new, something she hasn't done before...something beautiful...something which will make her feel that she is the Sharon, Swayam Shekhawat fell in love with, she's THE Sharon Rai Prakash, who will bring Swayam closer to her.
She blindfolds herself, and here our majnu boy tries contacting her but she's blissfully unaware that her Swayam is trying to do so. Unable to reach her, Swayam contacts Simmi and asks her where Sharon is. Simmi, being Sharon's best friend is elated at the very thought of Swayam wanting to know where Sharon is. She tells him that Sharon is practicing in the rehearsal hall, and one should really catch that smile on Swayam's face when he comes to know that she has started practicing dance...AGAIN. She's finally back.
Back to rehearsal hall,
O Re Piya Haye...
O Re piya...
O Re piya...hayye
O re piya..
Udne Laga Kyon Man Baawla Re Aaya Kahan Se Yeh Hosla Re O Re Piya Haye... (2)
Tanabana Tanabana Bunti Hawaa Haaye Bunti Hawa
Tanabana Tanabana Bunti Hawaa Haaye Bunti Hawa
Boondein Bhi To Aaye Nahi Baaz Yahan Sagish Mein Shaamil Sara Jahan Hai Har Zare Zare Ki Yeh Iltiza Hai O Re Piya O Re Piya Haye... (2) O Re Piya
She begins her contemporary dance, blindfolded, something that she's doing for the first time...something that's new to her..something different...something which will make her realize that she's THE diva of the college and nothing is impossible for her..she will win her love back... She will have to dance like the diva, like the girl whom Swayam fell in love with.
I don't really have anything much to say here, except for the fact that Vrushika is a FAB dancer. She's amazing... saw her contemporary in January and she was amazing.. It's impossible for a person to not fall in love with her contemporary. She's just too good. The dance almost brought tears to my eyes. She depicted her bit SO well. She was just way too flawless. I'm really falling short of words to describe her awesomeness. She completely STOLE the show for me.
Ni Re ,Re Re Ga Ga Ga Ma Ma Ma Pa Pa Ma Ga Re Sa Sa Re Re Sa Ga Ga Re Ma Ma Ga Pa Pa Ma Dha Dha Pa Ni Ni Sa Sa Pa Pa Sa Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa Ni
Re Ni Sa Sa Sa.. . . . ..
She revolves in circles around the rehearsal hall, unaware of the fact that someone is standing right at the door of the rehearsal hall, watching her, staring at her, admiring her, until she finally collides with him and is about to fall, but he doesn't let her.
That's what love teaches you, not to let the person you love, ever fall, in love, and even if she does, help her, catch hold of her, support her, protect her, but not let her fall...always be with her. Just support her at each stage, of her life.
Time stops for both of them. He looks at the angelic face in front of her that is unaware of the fact that he's holding her, he's never going to let her fall.. Unaware of the fact, she definitely does sense his presence and that HE's holding her. She senses his essence...she recognizes his touch..inhales his scent and slowly removes the blindfold from her eyes, as he lets her stand on her feet.
P.S Here, again, VruShan ka first TRUST wala act. It was lovely how she revolved and bumped straight into him. It's difficult waise toh, to realize where he's standing, but she managed it right. That was really amazing. Loved this part.
His hands are still wrapped around her waist. He's still holding on to her waist.. As she removes the blindfold, a questioning look arises on her face.. Her face is now a pool of emotions having so many unanswered questions. She looks at him and realizes that it was him only who was holding on to her all this while. Her mind fills with probable happiness and ecstacy as she realizes it was him...She looks like she wants to hug him, but due to obvious reasons, she doesn't do anything like that.
Baat karni hai. He says, turning away and removing his hands from around her waist.
Mujhse baat? You sure? Kuch important baat hogi. Her heart fills with happiness once again and she proceeds towards him. For a girl like Sharon, who is in love with Swayam finds happiness even with the fact that, he on his own came forward to talk to her, if not about them, maybe about someone else. But at least, HE came to talk to her. It gives her immense pleasure.
Haan. Important bhi hai, aur urgent bhi.
Ek condition par, she says.
Kya condition?
Blindfold dance mein meri help karni hogi.
Although he disagrees a bit at first, she stands firm on her decision of making him help her, she wants him, not only to help her, but also, him, to dance with her. She somehow silently convinces him to dance with her and he agrees, because its about someone else.
She holds his hand, and takes him to another side and hands the blindfold to him. He ties her, the pehla nasha background tune is still being played... Pehla nasha has the power to take all of us to SwaRon dreamland.. It is THE SwaRon tune, which purely depicts the fact that both of them are inseparable.. whatever the matter may be, no one can separate them because their love is so strong to be broken by anyone...
He ties the cloth to her... She closes her eyes in anticipation...She can't really see anything, but only sense him around her... only senses the fact that the man she loves is there with her...Only for a matter of few minutes, but he's there, for her... This gives her pleasure and her lips carve into a subtle smile.
He faces her and takes her hand into his, as he looks on to her in a way to..only to wish he could convey his love to her.
Form. Contemporary.
He removes his shoes and they start dancing as their heartbeats pace up and down, and time literally stops for them.
Nazrein Bolen Duniya Bole
Dil Ki Zaban Haaye Dil Ki Zubaan
Ishq Maange Ishq Chahe Koi Toofan Chalna Aahiste Ishq Naya Hai Pehla Yeh Vada Humne Kiya Hai O Re Piya Haaye... (2) O Re Piya
Piyaaa...
They dance as if they are meant for each other. They start dancing flawlessly... They dance as if they want the other one to know that their story is not meant to be broken...that they love each other like no one else does... They love each other more than anything else in the world... and their eyes are enough to convey volumes. They dance as if they are practicing since ages. He gets lost in the dance...he forgets the thing that he was supposed to feel that she doesn't love him like he does. Little does he know that her love is definitely as strong as his... and that she can do anything to get him back.
This part, for me was certainly THE best. This was simply the best, because it had all what you need for a perfect relationship. It had TRUST. It had love. The very fact that Sharon trusts him blindly, that she loves him so much, that she can do anything to win him back, that her love is extremely strong to disintegrate, was clearly visible in this bit.
Just flawless.
VruShan, and the choreographers, a BIG bow down to you, for this part. VruShan were phenomenal in this bit. I LOVED it . Extremely beautiful and extremely lovely. Beautifully done.
He walks away. She follows him as if she can trace his steps. She walks towards him as if she can sense him...as if she knows where he's going...as if she can predict his steps..
She walks him as if she can read him like he does, and holds on to him, as if she's afraid of losing him...as if she's afraid..that someone will come and take him from her...as if she's scared about him going away from her...because she knows that she'll never ever let him go away from her.
He hesitantly pushes her arms away...and she goes back and continues doing contemporary alone.
Nange Pairo Pe Angaro
Chalti Rahi Haaye Chalti Rahi
Unable to resist himself, he walks towards her and brings his palms down her arms. She rests in that moment, trying to absorb that feeling...trying to take the very essence of it...trying to feel his love...trying to convince her heart that he still loves her a lot, and that he's going to be back with her very soon.
Lagta Hai Ke Gairo Mein Palti Rahi Haaye Le Chal Wahan Jo Mulk Tera Hai Jahil Zamana Dushman Mera Hai Haaye
O Re Piya Haye... (5)
They continue their game of love...their game of trust as she blindly trusts him and he lifts her up doing movements...They dance flawlessly for some more time and he keeps her down only to face her. She takes the blindfold out and faces him... She closes her eyes in anticipation...as if wanting him to take some action..as if giving herself to him..as if letting him know that she's entirely hers...
Two love birds stand alone in the rehearsal hall...two angels stand facing each other...two angels whose hearts beat for each other.. Two angels, whose heartbeats keep chanting the other one's name.. Two angels madly in love with each other... Two angels, hoping for a better future and promising to the other one internally that they will not stop loving the other one...till eternity.
I know I really couldn't do justice to their feelings. This wasn't an OS. Only a simple analysis from Sharon's point of view, as I could understand it better :) Hope you liked it. 😊
