we ve had a lot of complaints the last two weeks perhaps about swaron, sneha , taani/shvam/rey etc., etc., but the dance camphas been a sudden eyeopener .
first and foremostly- CVs please please keep the focus on real dance like now- not a walkthro like in footloose .
since last week after each persons performance my irritation with seeing shivam, of the neverending swarans dialogues, of sneha leaving, of taani not slapping shivam, rey and taani progressing at snails pace - everything has become tolerable bcoz suddenly evryone eating/talking/living and breathing dance-----really!
and hats off to CVs again for showing us cleverly thro each persons performance how life skills and self confidence are needed in addition to dance skills - to put it in shivams words-in life , theres an outside world apart from our homes and college where responsibilities are different.
each one performance said so much about the kind of persosn they are - and u showed DIL- DOSTI - DANCE again
NEHA----grace personified. her dance was almost perfect ,nice and sweet like herself, strong inspite of her break waala situation with vicky, her dance won. she represented DANCE and dance won.
vicky- inspite of the break with neha hes still fine and it showed in the way he enjoyed his dance but the opponent was equally good , and nehas honest statement to him that both were equally good speaks of neha s impartial dance sense and vicky s reaction speaks of his feeling of being blind to the outside world- there are ppl as good as him too...but it may also mean the upcomming ?fight between them.
bharat- he danced faadu in his own language but the guy who danced opposite him gave him the same vibes, attitude that he keeps giving everyone else. he was at the recieving end this time and it worried him.could he handle it?
simmi- her steps were fine but the opponent danced far better and she says dont come to see me , shes scared of not performing and doesnt want her friends to know it.
amar- the GS candidate who won? really, he lacks in confidence so much, he wants swayams presence to keep his spirits up - his dance was good but again the other guy had no hiccups at all..every tiny mistake matters--and this one would cost him perhaps.
rinni- her simple personality showed in her simpler dance style today, she missed a step and she also has been saying as sharon s in the same group, it hardly matters to her whether she s winning or not. the urge to win is missing in her.
nilesh- the dance was definitely one of the best and so were the opponents' but ive a strong feeling that his over the top all the time make fun of everything attitiude will land him in trouble- however good ur, if the udge doesnt like u...?
rey - he was good as usual but we have seen so many of his much better performances that this one didnt stand out. its his nature of appreciating the opponents performance in a sporting way , his humility that was apparent, him trying to be with each one of them ...not once before or now has he ever said my dance is the best . he danced for dance sake but for me , his dance watched by all his friends ( and no taani) meant he represented DOSTI
swayam-Sharon - it doesnt make any sense to seperate these two. they represented DIL , oh yes i know sharon hasnt danced yet but as we know she maynt be able to complete it...swayam danced very well but he danced for sharon, not for dance. and thats exactly what sharon will do too. while swayam has always been dil person, the highlight has been sharon turning from I , me and myself to a dil person. dance comes as a close second.
and the tracks -swayam/sharon suddenly trying to patch up- taani finally resisting shivam and rey realising that something s wrong are the icing on the cake.
all in all, this track is one of my fav- if taani slaps shivam- it will become my all time fav
