Sharon's ego is the problem. She's attracted to Swayam, but can not admit it to herself or to Swayam. So in order to satisfy her ego, she will give Shivam the time of day because she feels he is her equal. She's also attracted to Shivam because he's flattering her and Swayam's total change has really thrown her off.

I think swayam ke killer attitude dekh dekhkar Sharon nuts ho gayi hai. Tabi toh woh uss stupid idiot shivam ko dekhkar smile kar rahi thi.
