Hye there are two side of a coin
just as u people feel they should show history as it is
we non history students feel it is better to know history rather than not knowing it
but we would be able to watch it only if told in an entertaining way because we are used to all entertainement channels indian and foreign
agreed the major aim of the show is to track th life of CGM and how he established Mauryan empire.
.But It is very obvious tht in todays world with so many diversions available.
.First of all it is really commendable for them to think of making an historical show so tht
people today are made aware of our ancient history
..why should they do that they can easily make some saas bahu shows which women folk are interested and make money easily...
it is less expenisve to make saas bahu shows and easy trps..too beasue some peopela re so used to watchign negativity..that they only like lit
I feel they really the makers a re really interested in making know such ancient hisotrical facts to young people and also to adults unware of it
that is why they are making them
secondly I personally feel in todays entertainment world this is all part and parcel..
One cannot show too much dryness saying reality perfect to "T" because then it will be all dry with blood sheds/wars/ dates/battle fields.etc
why do we need a visual show for .that .we can very well read or get information from internet..we need visual medium for education with entertainment
I t is not an UGC class/schhol or college lecture hour ..it is show business..so definitely entertaining aspects are needed
and reg why on earth chosing history for this
I personally feel it is very wrong of people to say they must choose only some othr topics
history is not anyones personal property alone ..and it is comon ancestral proeprty
so if we can say """why do they make it"" well i fel they can say """why should not we make it? """
so me personally feel i would rather appreciate their commendable efforts to make a show on large scale like this and try and make it aware
to atleast some section of people about our ancient mauryan empire.
who knows they would other wise would be watching some saas making fight with her bahu or some evil plottings or pure romance some dance shows or whatver ..
.so I personally welcome their efforts because people like us would rather prefer visual medium and also story in an entertaining way rateehr than all so called perfect facts... facts and facts..which can very well be read instead of being seen
if at all we want only facts we can very well read books/ see internet why do we need televison?
so I think personally we need to give our appreciation a nd positivity to such shows which are atemptin to do something good
they t may not be perfect 100 percent But definitley a good effort:))atleast a break away fro all those so called buk cket tear shedding family shows
and it is always easy to criticise but hard do something good..so when osme one is attemti ng changes instad of being too crtical we need to support ethem too
BTW i am not hre to argue or contradicting or entering tinto fights with anyone Just sahred my personal thoughts
