One thing that little Charumati has in common with her Mughal counterpart, in the Balaji universe of course, is overconfidence.
They say, usually the most rigid emotional despots suffer the hardest fall into vulnerability. And Bindusar is no different, much like JA's initial Jalal (miss that man )
Poor Rukaiyya, who was made to learn it the hard way by her sweet kismet ๐ณ
In day before's episode, I particularly enjoyed Dharma's dignity as opposed to her highness Charumati. Aren't Royalty supposed to possess better conduct than the third estate though? But then again, this is Ekta ka serial...these are but minor errs ๐๐
I liked how Dharma made it clear she is not interested. At all.
However, what struck me as epic badass was that she totally stripped her nemesis off the satisfaction of any possible combat even ๐
Where Jodha had been tad feisty about her refusal (had loved that also!); Dharma on the contrary handled her game with this really cool, impassive, yet polite resignation.
Now how does one fight that without looking foolish herself? And that's another reason why I absolutely love Dharma ๐
PS: BTW, is it just me, or do the Royal ladies in Magadh eat way too many apples?
