Look out, dear Charu. . .

One thing that little Charumati has in common with her Mughal counterpart, in the Balaji universe of course, is overconfidence.

They say, usually the most rigid emotional despots suffer the hardest fall into vulnerability. And Bindusar is no different, much like JA's initial Jalal (miss that man )

Poor Rukaiyya, who was made to learn it the hard way by her sweet kismet ๐Ÿ˜ณ

In day before's episode, I particularly enjoyed Dharma's dignity as opposed to her highness Charumati. Aren't Royalty supposed to possess better conduct than the third estate though? But then again, this is Ekta ka serial...these are but minor errs ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜†

I liked how Dharma made it clear she is not interested. At all.

However, what struck me as epic badass was that she totally stripped her nemesis off the satisfaction of any possible combat even ๐Ÿ‘

Where Jodha had been tad feisty about her refusal (had loved that also!); Dharma on the contrary handled her game with this really cool, impassive, yet polite resignation.

Now how does one fight that without looking foolish herself? And that's another reason why I absolutely love Dharma ๐Ÿ˜Ž

PS: BTW, is it just me, or do the Royal ladies in Magadh eat way too many apples?

Love your post. I agree, there was a maturity to the way Dharma communicated to Charu that she was in no way interested in BIndusar, making it all the more better. This Dharma is honestly the best adaption of Ashoka's mom that I have seen in recent times. The way the character of Dharma in CAS was isn't even up to par to CN's Dharma. The spunk CN Dharma brings when she gives befitting replies to Bindusar or Charumati is always so fun to watch. Her tone and dialogue delivery is always on point.

Charu...is going to be another Ruqqaiya Begum๐Ÿ˜†...The only thing that she wont be able to do is poisoning Bindusar Dharmas son Ashoka ๐Ÿ˜†...as he will be already deadly poisonous...๐Ÿ˜†...CAS Dharma was mahaan...even if somebody beats her she will reply in a quiet way...๐Ÿ˜†...But Pallavi was superb...here Dharma is violent...and Bindusar is maha violent...๐Ÿ˜†...which makes us believe that Ashoka will have violent streak in him...๐Ÿ˜†...Thanks to his parents ๐Ÿ˜†

I feel bad for Charu though...the shock that she will get after hearing the news of non cancellation of marriage with Dharma will be worth watching ๐Ÿ˜†...and I doubt how will she stop Bindusar from falling in love with Dharma as her saas sasur are planning to make them stay together at any cost ๐Ÿ˜†

Bold: lol, I loved Dharma from CAS, but I think I like this Dharma better for attitude and quick/well thought out counter remarks โญ๏ธ

Knowing that Ashoka's birth is inevitable makes Bindusar and Dharma's story that much more intriguing ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Exactly, I used to like that Dharma also. She had more sangfroid. Perhaps because she was playing a lady in her mid-thirties or early forties. Shubhdhragi as a character in itself is very admirable. And Prerna totally adds fire to her portrayal of a younger Dharma ๐Ÿ‘

Even I want to see some soft Bindusar-Dharma moments, that'll be super awesome ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

But I can wait.

I am loving how these two characters are progressing right now. Honestly, among the new royal cast, Siddharth and Abhishek carry a much weightier regal demeanor than all others put together.

I am not blaming it on any actor though. Because I quite like Rajat and Shweta, and I do know what they are capable of. Its just unfortunate how so much colossal lazy, uninspired writing happened for them, with only some cute moments thrown in between for solace. Their brief must have been really, really poor. And the onus is completely on the developers, no one else.

Casting excellent actors, and under-utilizing them to this horrid extent is criminal ๐Ÿ˜ก

But I am happy with the way Siddharth is carrying himself in CN.

I am actually beginning to root for Bindusar's love angle with Dharma, when initially I was ALL for Kartikeya-Dharma (knowing pretty well it wasn't even meant to be ๐Ÿ˜†)

same here. Initially, i loved karthikey and dharma, and I still do. I see their relationship as a major character development arc for Dharma. Making me love her even more.

I am very eager to watch Dharma and Bindusar scenes from here. The sparks are flying and both characters are so intense and neither will step down.

True that! Was a pleasing sight to the eyes to see Charumati kinda resign in defeat ๐Ÿ˜†

I still have that CAS image of Dharma so I sometimes want her to be verbally less savage. ๐Ÿ˜† I want her to bajao everyone calmly instead of always showing attitude. ๐Ÿ˜†
